Thank you for contacting the Lowe's website. The bed of the cart is essentially the “box” for the cart. All the components for the cart are packaged inside cart bed. The width of the cart is 37.5 inches and approximately 56 inches long.

What is the maximum speed for this trailer? Also, can it be used for off-roading behind an ATV?

Not sure how fast it will go as my tractor won't do more than about 15KM hour. With a full load on rough terrain you would have to go slower. The hitch is a weak point as the top metal piece might bend/deform if you went fast on uneven ground and all the 100LB weight hinged on it. Sorry cant answer your question perfectly.

Rated 5 de 5 de Nak380 par If size matters get this one I purchased this to use with my lawn tractor (JD D-130) and have owned the cart for a month. I have used it to haul rock, stone, soil, mulch as well as general use. It has excellent capacity for medium jobs around the property. It was easy to assemble and is fairly light weight. I was a little concerned about the polymer bed not being sturdy enough but but it is performing well and I like that it will not rust. If you get this one make sure you need the larger bed because when you use the dump feature all of the material will not be removed from the cart and for some this may be a little frustrating. I can’t comment on longevity but it is performing exactly the way I expected it to.

Very happy with the quality of the unit so far however there may be an issue. The bottom of the poly bed has some very serious looking flow lines in the plastic, areas that look like the plastic was too cold when the bed was formed. I worked in a plastic injection molding factory as a kid many years ago and we would have rejected products like this for this reason. Maybe it'll hold up well and there will be no issue.

Rated 5 de 5 de GEPO par Great stable and sturdy cart Bought this last week and had no trouble putting it together by myself although I have seen several reviews saying that you need two people to reach both sides of the bolts. Good strong and sturdy unlike some other brands I looked at. I am not finding any problem with the pedal step- the instructions were great and I really like that they provide the parts in a shrink-wrap board and the parts are grouped together by each step of the install guide- nice! A few pointers for putting it together: you only need a couple of wrenches, a slot screwdriver and a grease gun (you need to put grease on the axle before you install it and you need to grease the wheels bearing nipples on the tires. Stand the tub up the long side ( ends) and that way you can reach both sides of the bolt when tightening. Follow the directions- don't tighten all the way until it says so. When installing the pedal step, don't tighten the V bracket bolts until after you have bolted in the pedal- that way you can adjust the V bracket perfectly to get a nice tight, full edge against the tilt mechanism. One flaw for our friends at John Deere- the grease nipples on the wheels are not angled so make sure you have a flexible grease gun with a short metal end or you will not be able to push the grease gun on properly. Other than that I am really happy with it. Great purchase.

They need to make a stronger pivot release device. The one they have added is hopeless. I had to make my own T shaped bolt just to get it to work at all.

Purchased for a project that involved transporting rocks, cement blocks and slabs, top soil, gravel, chips etc. If the cart survived until the end of the project I would have felt it was money well spent. It survived some horrendous usage, took a beating and is still going strong. Recommended.
