Is the faucet plastic or metal ?

Hi Thank your your question. The faucet is a chrome plated plastic faucet. Quality is appropriate for home use.

Because the picture doesn't show the inside, I need to know if the rack can fit on either the left side or the right side? Is there any way to get a picture of the inside of the tub? I need to see where the ridges are in closer detail. Thank you!

Rated 5 de 5 de Laine par Perfect substitute during bath remodel Hubby and I are in the middle of a whole-house makeover. We ripped out one bath entirely, and ripped out the sinks and cabinets in the remaining two. In order to keep things functional while we live here, we needed an inexpensive yet useful sink for one bathroom. The Rugged Tub was a great option. The faucet set that comes with it has a pull-out sprayer that helps keep things clean. The built-in tray holds our daily use items like toothbrushes and lets them drain into the sink. The feet can be leveled, another great option, and it installed in minutes. Once we're done with the remodeling, we'll move this into the laundry room to replace a grungy, beat-up utility sink we inherited when we bought the house. So it's super functional, and will serve different purposes at different times. Love the price on this, too.

I'm not overly impressed with the plastic faucet system and I anticipate that over time this may not hold up like I'd expect. This is a first impression since it is very light weight, but I do not have any issues. The kit is complete and has all you need for a full installation. It is well thought out. I hope all goes well.

The faucet was unusable on warning by the plumber since it is made of plastic, it is guaranteed to leak and I would be calling him back. So at additional cost I purchased a non plastic faucet. It would have been nice to get the option for the better faucet at the appropriate cost.

Rated 1 de 5 de Zita par Cheap and damaged This thing is not even a month old and the cheap, plastic faucet is falling apart. I emailed the company but never received a response. When you open the box, the first thing you'll see is a giant yellow notice telling you not to return bad products to the store. Ignore that advice, as you won't get any help from the manufacturer. See photo. The plastic o-ring around the faucet broke just days after having the sink installed by a licensed plumber. A couple of weeks later, I turned the hot water knob and the little piece with the "H" popped off.

Rated 1 de 5 de Cyber par Leaky sink with problems Waited for this sink to ship to store so I could replace our old one that finally gave out and broke. This RuggedTub sink leaks where the sprayer hose attaches. I checked video and used plumbers tape but it still leaks, rendering the sink unusable at this time. The manual is poorly written with poor images, which forced me to find an install video online when I couldn't figure it out myself. The hoses are 3/8 to 1/2, not listed on produce information, which doesn't fit our plumbing so I had to go get replacement hoses.

Installed 10 months ago by a licensed plumber and the faucet itself is dumping (it's not a small leak) water out the back when the faucet is turned on. The tub itself is fine for what I need it for, so far. I emailed the faucet manufacturer located in Canada, and supposedly they are sending me a replacement valve, connecting hose, and sprayer because it's under warranty, but I may end up just giving up on it and getting a better quality one.
