Rated 5 de 5 de Dutch par Worth every penny! I purchased this product several months after herniating a disc in my lower back. I thought it was useful. Then I had surgery, and my grabber became indispensable! Unable to move well or bend, and being on my own for periods of time, I have figured out how to do most everything with the device; laudry, cleaning, getting and putting away dishes, even feeding the cat, not to mention picking items up off the floor. The cups really can pick up the smallest items. I even use it as a support while walking. I don’t go anywhere in my house without my grabber. I think even after I have recovered from my surgery I will still rely on this device.

Rated 2 de 5 de Mike par Disappointing grabber Have been using similar products for years to pick up sticks and lawn trash. Thought they were all about the same. Bought this one a month ago and have been disappointed. The main problem is that it requires a little too much strength to squeeze the tips together. This would be okay if you were just picking up an item or two, but I spend an hour or so going over my heavily treed yard picking up sticks every time we have a heavy wind or storm. After that much time, my hands are really sore from squeezing. I am a 63 year old man who rides a motorcycle regularly, so my hands are not weak. This one is going to be my back up and I will buy a new one with less squeeze effort.

Unfortunately there is a lot of debris that either blows in or people just drop instead of using trash cans. Two or three times a week I take a trash bag and the E-Z Reacher and go out cleaning up my block. I had used another similar product but it kept bending and the grips didn't grip well. I like the E-Z Reacher because it is sturdy and I like the little suction cups used for gripping items. I pick up everything from cigarette butts to large beer bottles without a problem. I also like that I never have to actually touch anything myself.

It appears to be made for a large man with larger and stronger hands. When I pull the latch to use this tool, it requires strength that I don't have in my hands, and my index finger is really hurting right now after using it for just a few minutes around the house. However, It grabs just fine and is very sturdy. It's almost a little too long for picking things up around the house. I am 5' 7" and average size, and my grip tends to be a little weak due to occasional arthritis. If they loosened the tension in the handle, it would be a lot better. I have an easier to use grabber/extender than this, so be sure to try different brands if you have small hands.

Rated 5 de 5 de rainbomg par surprisingly perfect My husband and i have gone through maybe half a dozen of another brand that makes a tool like this, and up until we found this one that was the best we could find, and it broke every 6 months bc the wiring in it would snap the cheap plastic handle mechanism on the inside and it was just a design flaw that you couldnt circumvent. This thing tho, its lightweight, it somehow (even though it doesnt look it) is the most effective at picking up and hanging on to things that ive ever seen, and the handle doesnt add unneccessary pain to my arthritic hands. Im 37 btw this review sounds like im 67 JUST SAYIN. Young people gotta reach back behind the sofa too- i mostly use it to pick up cat toys tho

I have tested it with heavy objects like a brick and tiny stuff like a dime and it works equally well. These blue silicone cups don't smell or scuff my floors and cabinets like the black cups. I like that the manufacturer stands behind this product with an Unconditional Lifetime Guarantee This is a great home-use reacher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is retired and has a hobby of picking up sycamore leaves that blow into our property from our neighbor's trees. We got this in the spring and he has only used it for picking leaves but both the rubber suction cups have fallen off and the handle has broken. He does use it almost every day but picking up one leaf at a time should not have caused this kind of wear. I had one of these previously that had the same problems. Since then, I have used the Unger Professional Nifty Nabber which is better made and has lasted a lot longer but unfortunately had to order it online since Lowes does not carry it.

No problem lifting heavy cans and tools with it. The suction cups are heavy rubber and bolted to the ends. I am very pleased so far with this product. Has a lock on the handle for a sure grip. I have small hands and can use it just fine.
