What are the 3 pieces? In particular is are the none glass walls one piece or are there other seams other than where the glass meets the walls. I'm looking for a shower that is a full one piece other than the glass wall/door.

what temperature is it rated for? We were thinking of installing in our cabin, but it is not heated in winter. Will the panels be okay, or will they crack?

Rated 4 de 5 de JUosey par MAAX glass 3 piece round shower kit Bought Kit in November, Drain was in the corner centered 12 inches from each wall. Should have been 12 + 1/8 inches. Base has a curled out bottom lip requiring more drain distance. Foam underline of base causes it to squeek when walked on. Overall hardware was good. Some ss screws were missing. #8 x 5/8, Description for water seal strips were ambiguous. They were not labeled., got them right the second time. Used Shoo-Goop to seal unit, other calking wasn't good enough. Floor water seal was very snug when installed. Unit was installed on a tile floor. I like it. Don't send me literature/products

Rated 3 de 5 de Handy woman par A nice look We bought this product because of the finished look and sizing since we did not have much room in our bathroom. We love the look however the quality does not compare to the fibreglass showers. The walls are very thin and base made of styrofoam. This shower MUST be installed on drywall and never just studs and support brackets are required. There is NO fastening flange as it is meant to go on drywall with caulking between drywall and finished edge. It is great if you are replacing an exsisting poly shower. It was difficult following the instructions and paused many times to figure out what exactly we were looking at, but there is a telephone number you may call anytime for help installing. Definitely a two person Install. Recommending spending more for a quality shower , but it is OK for the price.

However, the base is extremely noisy -- it squeaks, loudly, when you step on it and not just when you first step in, either. We're pretty upset now that we have that to look forward to every time we use the shower . . . The way it opens is a bit of a problem if you have the shower up against anything because you have to reach right to the edge to open it and it only opens halfway across. We had it professionally installed so I can't speak to how easy it was to install.

Rated 1 de 5 de Disgruntled William par Run Away Bought the Maax Charlotte a month ago to replace a shower, also a Maxx and also purchased at Lowes. This shower is basically the same, other than having glass doors. Comes with no instructions and after a number of days fighting the internet I have yet to find any. The walls are much more flimsy than the other and appears that you would have to fasten it to the wall with an adhesive. I have read endless reviews about Maax and at this time I wish I had read them before purchasing this one. In my opinion, a lot of money for a poor product. If this is truly a Canadian product we are in trouble. It will be repackaged and returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the instructions weren't super helpful but sufficient to get the job done. the support diagram was spot on though, that was extremely helpful and detailed. all in all I'm pleased with the install. 100% leak free the first time, but I also didn't follow their instructions for sealing, I did it my own way and sealed it as I went. my only complaint is the floor. it's sturdy, but make sure your drain hole in the floor is as tiny as possible. there's a bit of a dip in mine because the previous installer made a large cutout for the drain. it wasn't an issue in the last shower, but it is in this one.

Rated 1 de 5 de Nelson1234 par Leaks out Bottom Track Made out of weak, flimsy plastic that cracked in one spot before the install, even when being very careful. Water bounces out the bottom, and it also somehow leaking from the bottom. Have tried to seal it multiple times, but no luck. Would not recommend this to anyone. Ripping it out to put a new one in because of water leaking on the floor.

Extreamly flimsy walls and base. The base uses foam in it to add strength, but the base flexes to much. I poored a level floor under it, which is perfectly level and it still flexes. I have had to recaulk 4 times already as the shower flexes so much to silicon eventually opens up. Overall it is a terrible design with poor quality. Stay away. I am looking to make a tiled shower now as I have to rip this thing out due to continued leaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stylish shower stall was so easy to install, but I had assistance from a friend who's a professional. Together, we had this fully installed in two days. If we didn't have to wait for the sealants to dry, we'd have been able to take a luxurious shower in it within the first day. It has clear instructions and a brilliant design, but you must pay careful attention to the right parts and measurements. I love the unique curved door and the built in shelves. It's convenient and properly sealed to keep my bathroom dry and protected from moisture. I love it!
