I have just bought a second one but would really prefer another version or brand if one was available to resolve these two situations (1) If you store flat washers in it they slip easily from one compartment to another (2) the latches that open the clear internal covers are very hard to open - both a good point and a bad point - they do not open by themselves dumping everything out but they are also difficult to open when you want to get in

Rated 3 de 5 de Infidel6 par Great case, not enough dividers [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good small cases, but they need more dividers. Dewalt ships the cases with 6 dividers, and that is fine if they think that is enough to provide flexibility in choosing an arrangement that works. I find I often need more than 6. Dewalt should ship them with more dividers, or make the dividers available for sale in packs of 5 or 10 (or 50), like they do with screwdriver bits. I had to purchase two in order to have one complete box for my use. That does not make me happy. I'm waiting for Milwaukee to come out with a smaller box than they now offer and I will be switching.

Rated 5 de 5 de goin88mph par Stout little bit box I use these as a quick grab and go for bits & drill bit. I have others; one for pop rivets, one for snaps, another for electrical connections. Holds just enough of everything for my uses. I've dropped these over and over and as long as everything is locked properly, everything stays put. It has a pretty good robust feel to them.

Rated 5 de 5 de KC63 par Great versital case, hold a lot of stuff I bought two of these today, after searching on line. Glad I found these! Holds all my assorted driver bit styles and hold them well in the compartment using the locking cover doors. I used my label maker to mark the door as to what size, style etc put it on the outside, even what's lock. Do I don't have to guess. The second one I'm going to use my rotary tool to remove the dividers so I can store my paddle bits. That are now stored in a metal tin box. Because I couldn't find anything to hold them neatly... Until now. I just label the out side as to my driver bits, or the paddle drills. Covers lock, the clam shell locks and it's tough! The price is right for a good and tough case to hold all your driver bits, drill bits, adapters what ever.

Rated 3 de 5 de Mrbios par Good product but a bit rough around the edges... TIP: plan to sand down the awful black plastic buttons as soon as you get it home. This will also prevent damage as the buttons are so hard to move you risk damaging the track they slide in. Hopefully, the mfg will fix this. I bought this case specifically to house the bits I use most often for my drill and driver. The first thing I noticed was how hard the sliding buttons are to move! I bought it anyway and when I got home I sanded the plastic down on the black buttons. There are many bit holders and sets but they are generic and contain many bits that you don't ever use - like #1 & #3 Phillips and star or Torx bits etc. Also, there are no cases to hold bit extensions. A good bit extension really holds on to the bits and so I prefer to change out the entire extension. With this case I have the following bit extensions w/ bit. - #2 Phillips - of course. - Hex Drill Bit holder w/ countersink. - Nut drivers!! 1/4" and (5/16"?) - #1 & #2 Square drive for outlets and electrical. - 3/16" Flat Blade. These few bits cover 99% of the bits that I use. Same with drill bits: 95% of the time I use a few small bits for pre drill to prevent cracking or reduce the stress of driving 2" to 3" or longer screws - the driver will do it but this weakens the screw a lot and defeats the reason for using it in the firs place. There are many special bits like Tors / Star for non-electrical uses like deck screws but most of them are now useless because #2 Phillips when driven with an impact driver work just as good and reduce cost and keep things standard. This brings us back to the review - with this box you build your own set of bits - the ones you actually use. Compartments can be adjusted to fit the bit lengths.

But when you purchase new router bits, you don't really get a good way to store them, unless you buy a big bit package. I needed a simple storage solution and this works like a dream. The only thing I would recommend is that you cut out some rubber or padded material to line the bottom of the box with. Blades can chip very easily if not stored securely.

When at Lowes I found this cause looking for something for holding drill bits. Found this even with the button being hard to open I was afraid I was going to break it. Got it home and does the job just fine.

Rated 3 de 5 de bobbuilder par needs improvement Needs more adjustable. One side needs to allow for thick bits such as drywall and step. Inner door latches are a slight pain to usr. I bought it to organize my bits, and keep handy. It does just that.
