No, you have to buy model # VT0753 if you want the grille which in my opinion is the only way to go.  without it you will get mice. NOTE:  that model # is the 4" black but also available in other sizes and brown and white also.

How does this attach to the exterior wall of a house? I do not see any screw holes in the provided picture.

Is this vent cap actually 11 1/2 inches high installed? I want to replace my dryer vent cap which is 6 in wide x 6 in High (this is from the outside edges). I do not have room on the siding for 11 1/2 Inches. It would extend below the siding.

The vent actually measures 7.75 (h) by 7.5 (w) on the outside edges.

Where this vent is, it's hard to replace since it's about 20 feet from the ground, so I needed something that will last. This one is metal, flap is plastic but it's not exposed to the sunlight or weather. Looks like it seals up tightly, so should keep out drafts and insects.

Rated 5 de 5 de THawk par Terrific upgrade from standard wall vents I actually drilled out the ten pressure points holding the vent pipe together and removed. Then painted to match the house. I used tin snips to remove the old vent then secured this wall vent to the wall and caulked. very simple, little time and looks and works perfectly. The back flow flapper is heavy duty and works great.

Rated 3 de 5 de Louis par Not quite made right A customer should know that the dryer pipe is exactly 4 " in diameter and tjis the same size as dryer hose that is meant to be slipped on over the dryer pipe. The pipe diameter should be somethng narrower like 3 and 15/16 diameter. I will give it 3 stars for its otherwise solid construction
