No, you have to buy model # VT0753 if you want the grille which in my opinion is the only way to go.  without it you will get mice. NOTE:  that model # is the 4" black but also available in other sizes and brown and white also.

How does this attach to the exterior wall of a house? I do not see any screw holes in the provided picture.

Is this vent cap actually 11 1/2 inches high installed? I want to replace my dryer vent cap which is 6 in wide x 6 in High (this is from the outside edges). I do not have room on the siding for 11 1/2 Inches. It would extend below the siding.

The vent actually measures 7.75 (h) by 7.5 (w) on the outside edges.

Rated 5 de 5 de killer par Substantial Dryer vent hood This is what a dryer vent hood should be like, not at all like those cheap and easily broken plastic units. In my experience, the plastic ones are easily broken, and when even a ear is broken off of one louver, the entire plastic unit must be replaced. I expect this one will last for many years without any issues.

Sturdy metal work break down in sunlight and bad weather. Has a weighted flap to prevent outside air getting in. Have used them for dryer vents and bathroom fan vents and work great.

Rated 5 de 5 de DISAPOINTED par Sturdy dryer vent Was looking at the selection in the store and came across this one. Mind was made up immediately. After installation, I know I made the right choice. This vent assembly is very sturdy. Most vents are version of the white plastic that will deteriorate out in the weather. This one will last for many years. A few more dollars, but will pay for itself over time.
