Ce sable polymère EZ Sand Techniseal empêche la croissance des mauvaises herbes et repousse les fourmis et autres insectes. Ce matériau durable (certifié LEED) aide à prévenir l'érosion du pavé. Composé de sable calibré et de liant, ce sable de jointoiement résidentiel fiable s'écoule doucement dans les joints et vous permet d'installer votre pavé plus efficacement. Recommandé pour les allées et les patios. Couleur beige.

I am building a small allan block wall (less than 2' tall). AB calls for 1/2" layer of coarse sand under the base row. Can this sand be used for that 1/2" layer?

Late answer, but for other people with this question. No. For bases of most kinds there are 2 (sometimes 3) proper choices. First, is HPB - High Performance Base. The second is similar but more generic and is called "Chips and Dust". In some situations, sand/play sand is a good option, but not for a retaining wall. Any landscape or aggregate supply yard will know what you need.

This polymer sand does 'bond' together but it does not get as hard as cement. That being said it is hard enough in between the joints to prevent bugs and weeds

Rated 5 de 5 de Metman par No more weeds or ants This product works exactly as advertised. After taking apart, leveling and reassembling my walkway, I used this product. There are about 20 steps with pictograms on how to use this product. The MOST important one, from my perspective, is that this product will become hard as cement once the spraying with water step is completed. So, if you think that some area has too little or too much product, correct it first because once it hardens, you cannot add more product and water again. It will not stick. In my opinion, this product is not meant to be used on top of sand. It needs to fill the entire cavity to work effectively. Note: if the reno centre stores this product outside I would check the bag carefully for any dings. If any water gets inside I doubt the product will work properly.

Rated 5 de 5 de gospelle par My Experience was good Given some reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. I've concluded that most people are just doing it wrong. I watched videos on how to install before doing this 250sqft patio paver project and it went exactly as advertised. Two days later and sand is hard as a rock. I used a mechanical tamping machine, something I'll bet some people don't do. Specifically, I rented a "roller tamper". I tamped pavers into bedding sand before putting any of the polymeric sand on. I didn't use any of the sand from the bag that was lumpy. there wasn't much but a couple bags has some. I just tossed that. I poured it into cracks and used broom sparingly, making sure to use short strokes on the broom so I didn't separate the sand from the binding particles (as they discuss on the videos). I then used mechanical tamper to settle the sand. The sand in the cracks settled halfway down the bricks after tamping. This tells me powered mechanical tamping is ESSENTIAL. I added more sand and tamped again, and again, and again. until all cracks were solid and filled. I used a leaf blower, to remove dust from bricks and ensured there was a 1/8" space between top of bricks and top of sand. Both the 1/8" gap and the leaf blower are in the instructions and MANDATORY. I watered using "shower" mode on sprayer. Thankfully I watched videos to see how much to water because I imagine most people water too much. I watered a second time. (as per instructions). I then IMMEDIATELY used a floor squeegee to remove standing water (there wasn't much), followed IMMEDIATELY by the leaf blower. All the instructions are very clear that removing excess water is MANDATORY. I then let it sit undisturbed and un-watered by rain or other means for 2 days. So if you buy this and don't use a gas powered vibratory tamping machine or leaf blower or water it the right amount or use the leaf blower then don't whine if it doesn't work. If you take the time to use the right tools, watch the videos on youtube, and follow all the instructions, you'll not be disappointed.

Rated 5 de 5 de thomas3j par Worked exactly as planned I purchased this product to reseal my driveway. I power washed the old sand, dirt and weeds out. I then spread this product over my driveway and swept it into the joins. I used a leaf blower to lightly blow off the excess sand with the pavers and misted the entire driveway lightly with water. After 24 hours the sand in the joints seams to be rock hard. Hoping this will limit the amount of weeds this summer. I am going to use a clear sealer over the top as well. Product was easy to work with. Unfortunately Lowes mixed up the order and gave me some bags of tan and some bags grey,

Rated 1 de 5 de carson par Avoid this product I should have read the reviews on this product before purchasing but had a few days of dry weather to apply this. This was easily available so decided to give it a try. That was a mistake! After thoroughly cleaning out the old sand I had in place between the pavers, I followed the instructions on the bag. After 2 days of dry weather and sun, I checked the application and it seemed a little firm, but could still make an imprint with my finger. I then had to run the garden hose (on shower) in a particular area and the sand started breaking down and coming out of the groves. This product is clearly not designed well and would recommend others to avoid this.

Rated 3 de 5 de JoeM par Packaging not adequate to keep moisture out! The product worked well, however the 2 bag I bought had large unusable lumps inside causing me to lose 8 to 10 lbs of sand. I thought I could break the lumps up and use the sand but the polymer had firmly hardened preventing reuse. The plastic bags must have had some holes allowing water to get inside and ruin portions of the sand. A sealed plastic basket would’ve been a better way to store the sand.

Unfortunately I had also rented a compactor the same day so I had to get the job done and could not wait and return the product. Product itself is fine, but Lowes needs to take more care in how they store it, very disappointing.
