Rated 5 de 5 de par Amazing smoker!!! Worth every penny All I can say is wow! I was so in between the weber smokey mountain or an offset smoker. I have no experience whatsoever with smoking meat and only novice experience with a gas grill. After reading all the reviews i knew this was the one for me and drove 2 hours to pick it up at a lowes in Nashville. This smoker makes smoking meat so easy. I put in about 25-30 charcoal briquettes and it maintains 225 degrees effortlessly for 6+ hours. If you're on the fence about it I say go for it, it will make you look like an expert at smoking meats. There's a reason this smoker has 5 stars on about every website it sells on and a reason it's used by professionals.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Awesome SMOKER!!! First of all I did all the research and all the research proved to be true. The part about set it and forget it is so true it is so easy to use I highly recommend it to anyone! The true test was going to be my wife and my wife said it was delicious not too smoky because you don't have to use a lot of wood! It truly is amazing how it holds the heat at a specific temperature. I can't wait to do a brisket. This first cook was one slab of St. Louis style ribs three ribeyes and a sausage link. Another thing that amazed me was that you don't have to add more fuel for a long smoke! GO AHEAD AND PULL THE TRIGGER, because you won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great for beginner or expert smokers This is an all around great smoker. I've always used my regular Weber bbq grill for smoking and grilling, but took the decided to purchase this when I wanted to do more food at once. Overall assembly is pretty straightforward and took me about 15-20 minutes. The instructions aren't super clear on assembly, but you'll figure it out. The smoker does a great job maintaining heat. There's plenty of room on the 18.5 for my needs. I have only smoked two whole chickens so far, but I'm looking forward to trying my ribs on the SMC. Also if you are choosing between 18.5 and 22.5 consider fuel costs. I noticed that 22.5 specifies more charcoal for same cooking times, so only get 22.5 if you are going to be smoking a lot of food consistently.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Weber Smokey Mountain 18 1/2" Smoker I've had this for about three weeks now and have loved every minute of it use. Be sure you check your grill after assembly, particularly the smoke chamber door. If needed, carefully and gently bend the door to fit the curvature of the smoke chamber. Take the extra step of seasoning your smoker before your first cook. Google and YouTube will become your best source of information. Being retired I must admit the 14 1/2 in ,in my opinion, may have been a better choice. With just me and my wife, I loaded up the 18 1/2 in up with two large chickens and two pork loin roasts. Now my neighbor are eating just as well as I am. So size does matter. This is about as close to set it and forget it in a smoker as you will get.

Last grill broke and I told myself i wasnt going to buy another one until an Egg. Well times and Credit limits change. Purchased this and brought it home. After I put it together seasoned it and was ready to go. Thanksgiving Turkey was a huge success. Can't go wrong with any Webber product and definitely not this one. Next up is an Original Kettle to complete my outdoor kitchen. Hey! If my wife uses the excuse a convection oven is better and she needs a toaster oven. I can use the same excuses.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent smoker for beginners This is a great smoker, even for beginners like myself. I had the chance to put it to work over Memorial Day weekend and it did not disappoint. It was able to hold a temperature of around 225 - 250 degrees for the duration of the cooking, very easy clean up, and the food came out fantastic. The directions for starting and maintaining the heat were easy to follow in the instruction manual. There is one design flaw though, and that is this should come equipped with handles on the side to make it easier to transport in and out of the garage.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Amazing smoker Recently enter into the meat smoking world , bought this smoker and I love it , the only thing I regret is that I didn’t bought the bigger one , even that this one is not the bigger one, it’s plenty cooking area, I had made 4 brunken chicken and 6 rack of ribs at once, plenty space for 2 turkeys around 15 pounds each, 2 bostonbutt , etc.... I love it , I live in Clinton Massachusetts which it’s really cold weather, and I used the smoker even at 20 degrees temperature , hold the heat extremely good, it’s no one thing that I don’t love about this smoker , my coworker love it too they get pretty excited every time I brought them food .

Rated 5 de 5 de par My WSM I was new to smoking meat until i purchased this little jewel. After putting it all together i got the coals ready (minion method) and added apple wood chunks and just let it smoke for a few hours and let the coals burn out. The next day i smoked two racks of ribs. 6.5 hours later i had beautiful tender juicy ribs. The temperatures held true like weber said it would for the entire cook. I didn't have to add any more charcoal. Since then, im smoking meats as much as possible, like 2 or 3 times a week. I love this smoker. If your a beginner like me and want a smoker thats extremely forgiving, then you should give this a shot. Dor the price. Its all the bang for your buck.
