3 Years in and Still Beautiful!
I bought this sink not knowing how I'd like the single bowl and I was worried about permanent scuff marks.
We've had this sink for three years now and it's still beautiful! It has held up well with my husband and two boys using it, with minimal marks, no chips or scratches. I bought the wire racks to protect the bottom of the sink and I clean it every couple nights after dinner. I use just a sponge, dish soap, and no abrasive cleaner, for a nice shine I use the Kohler sink cleaner. Apron sinks do sit shorter than most sinks, but we're shorter so it's not a problem for us. I rarely fill it with water instead I usually use a pot or large bowl and fill it with water instead.

Perfect Sink For Anyone W/ More Than 10 Brain Cells
This is the perfect farmhouse sink. I've seen a lot of complaints about staining/etching/etc., but really if your IQ is above room temperature and you have the most basic of human knowledge (rare now apparently) this sink will be perfect for you. Barkeeper's Friend will remove any and all stains. I have left cast iron, copper, and non-stick pans in the sink for over a week and BF removes the cast iron and metal stains. I have also heard Magic Erasers will do the trick. I am borderline abusive to this sink and have yet to be able to stain, scratch, or chip it.

The focal point of my kitchen
This sink is amazing. Very well made, VERY HEAVY, and will last a lifetime if not more. I read reviews of other farmhouse sinks that were made of a cheaper material, and some people said their sinks already had cracks in the bottom. I definitely did not want that issue, so we paid more for this sink than the cheaper versions, and I couldn't be happier. I am also glad I went with a one basin sink instead of two. With one basin I have more flexibility to rinse really large items, and it's so big I can wash my pets or toddler in it! I figure if I ever need "two basins", I can just buy one of those small dish tubs from the store, set it in the sink for washing, and still have room to rinse off dishes on the other side. So far it has not been an issue. I don't foresee any issues with staining due to the very nice enamel finish. The water also seems to drain great from all areas--no puddling so it must have a gentle slope to help divert water.
We purchased a deep upper cabinet that is intended to go over top of a fridge for our base. They do make farmhouse sink bases, but you can make a deep fridge upper cabinet work by building it up with a homemade toe kick and I'm pretty sure my husband had to build some internal support around the actual sink because it's soooooo heavy.
I have one suggestion for Kohler-please make sure your stickers are level lol. When I received my sink, the first thing I noticed was the small sticker in the middle of my sink was a little uneven. I know it's petty, and that's why I still gave the sink 5-stars, but honestly if you pay that much for a sink it would be nice to have that little detail perfectly centered and level. But otherwise, no complaints and love my purchase.

Lovely porcelain finish
The sink works as a stand alone. Set it in the cabinet so it is further out from the wall than the drawing calls for--- it looks great when there is a 12 inches countertop between back of sink and wall instead of just 6, and then the sink really stands out, but that does require some extension to the lower supporting cabinet. But it is worth it -- it looks great. Also check the drawing as opposed to actual sink measurement -- it calls for lots of shimming but is not needed. I hope it does not stain -- am going to purchase the grid that goes on bottom to protect it.

30 days in and already etched
Beautiful sink! Researched which type of farmhouse sink I would purchase and ultimately decided since the last Kohler cast iron sink (Hartland double basin, which I loved) held up so well I should stick with Kohler. After only ~30 days it already has a small chip on one side! We have been so careful and even use a protective mat. This sink has a sturdy look but is definitely not. Very disappointed.

Farm house single bowl white cast iron sink.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love it. I struggled with the decision about a single bowl versus a double and went with the single. We use a dish pan for washing and drain the dishes right in the sink. My husband installed it with no problems. It is spacious and beautiful. I have had no issues cleaning it. Would definitely recommend.

I've had this sink for a few years, and it is a mess. The sink surface is mottled and uneven. It stains and gets marked easily. Just not worth it. Now that I have it, I would have to get the stone counter removed and re-installed if I want something different.
