The manufacturers information does not mention finger print resistant coating. So far it hasn’t been  much of an issue.  Wiping it with a wet cloth and drying it seems to do the trick better than stainless steel cleaner

Rated 1 de 5 de spunky1234 par Do not purchase I purchased this dishwasher on October 28 2017 for $948, four months later in February of 2018 the control panel would not power on. LG replaced the control panel two weeks later under warranty. In June of the same year the control panel stopped working again two weeks later the control panel was again replaced under warranty. One year went by and on June 7th 2019 the control panel stops working a THIRD time. This time we are no longer covered by the warranty. LG agreed to pay the new control panel but we still had to pay $124.30 for the appliance company to install a new panel. LG should be replacing this dishwasher. This is clearly an unreliable appliance, and I do not recommend it.

I was initially concerned by the other reviews on here but after checking other sites I realized they were inaccurate. On the installation instructions there are clear instructions to ensure the dishwasher is level otherwise it could leak - upon leveling on installation we have experienced no leaks unlike the other reviewer. In addition the 3 levels is a great feature, while it gives you the option to use the traditional cutlery basket the top level cutlery tray works great, and keeps things organized. As a test we put in a baked lasagna tray, and we’re impressed that the plate was sparkling after the wash. Don’t generally do these reviews but thought the world just had to know about this wonderful innovation. Cons: why out wifi in a dishwasher, still trying to figure this one out... dishes go in and you turn it on, not quite sure why you need it to link to your mobile device.

The machine is quite quiet, but we added a stripe of foam at the front bottom area to keep everything extra quiet, it makes normal noises at some points of the cycles, but nothing very noisy. Easy to install, as you can level the back castors from the front, has all kind of configurations to arrange your dishes, different height adjustment for the second tray, and you can take out the third tray, no complains so far, LG is quite good brand

Easy to install, is super quiet and cleans and dries dishes very well. Upper cutlery rack is great and lower and middle racks are well thought out for flexible stacking. In many respects it's better than the Miele we left behind in our old house at half the price. I don't get the countdown timer on the top of the door, when it's closed you can't see it very well under the countertop overhang. Also I'm not sold on the usefulness of the wi-fi connectivity quite yet (other than checking the remaining time on the wash cycle because you can't physically see the timer on the machine!) All in all a good purchase, not sure it's worth LG's suggested retail price of $1,350, but under $900 it's a great deal.

Tupperware and coffee mugs with a concave base do have a little water on them, but I can live with that. Glasses answer cutlery are spotfree and dry as well. Top bonus rack is great for Tupperware (except the bigger sizes), utensils etc. Lots of folding tines so that you can configure the bottom and middle racks as needed, if you add odd shaped items. Delivery was smooth, and they took away the old dishwasher because I had it disconnected before they arrived. Note that the controls are on the top of the door, so if your counter has any kind of overhang, you can’t really work the controls with the door closed. Solution is to program the wash (I always use automatic, as it’s sensors know what cycle to apply), press start and close the door. Unless you set up a delay, it will kick on a few seconds later. I should mention that it is very quiet. Yes, I can hear it, no I don’t have to turn up the volume on the tv. Oh and buy stainless steel cleaner as not resistant to fingerprints or smudging, like almost all stainless appliances. Would definitely recommend this dishwasher.

Rated 2 de 5 de CPham par Middle rack defect I bought this machine this week and on first use the middle rack can not hold its position after I raised it up to have more space for the pots in the bottom rack. Calling LG warranty line and they said that they aware that this model has the middle rack issue and they would send me a replacement for the middle rack and I have to follow the manual to replace it. What upsetting me is the girl on the line kept gigling while talking to me like she was having fun seeing that a customer has a problem with their product. I would not recommend buying this product

It worked well for the first couple of months however like other reviews it had a defaulty rack and rail issue. This was first discovered after the door was pushed open mid cycle and flooded my kitchen. I called LG and they sent a technician out to replace my rack and rails. This week the issue returned and I had another kitchen flood. Same problem. LG customer service was terrible and there is no real “formal” customer escalation process. A broken appliance is one thing however a flooded kitchen (twice now in 10 months) and water damage to your home is another. I even purchased the extended 5 year warranty which is a total waste with a defective product and I will be contacting Lowe’s. Even if it is fixed again at this point I am not comfortable using this dishwasher. I would have to sit and watch it finish to ensure there is no more damage to my home. If this is a known issue I’m not sure why this product is still being sold unless there is a process in place to fix the water damage to people’s homes. Please, buyer be well aware and make an informed decision. It is NOT worth the risk... even if it was free because it will cost more to repair the damage to your house. Twice in 10 months for a brand new product is NOT acceptable.

While the Bosch models were the most highly rated, the LG simply had more of the features that I wanted so I threw caution to the wind. I'm glad I did. I installed it myself. On inspection, I found the build quality to be very good, with many aspects the same as the Bosch and others that I inspected. The rack configuration was the most appealing to me. They raise and lower as advertised and have movable prongs that make it easy to wash odd shaped items. Everything functions easily. The one hour Turbo mode cleans a full load just as well as the longer cycles, which is nice. The dryer is very quiet. I suspect that the other reviewers may have not had the dryer installed properly (I did it myself, which is always the best way) or may not have read the manual. I also own an LG over the range Microwave and at half the price, it is much better than the KitchenAid and Panasonic that I previously owned. The only deficiency that I have found so far is the WiFi feature, which works but is rudimentary and not particularly useful.
