I enjoy the utilities functions in the App. I do wish they were a little easier to manually override. We still haven't figured that feature out yet. We are always learning with this washer which is what I personally love about it. I have setup most all of my cloths in the prewash options in the app which makes it a one button operation for washing my cloths. I really like the washer complete notifications and the assign task option. I can let my kids know when their laundry is complete and it's time to move it over. Now if it would only fold the laundry.

The washer is very frustrating. There’s not a true Quick cycle. It keeps adjusting up to additional 30-45 minutes when set on a 27 minute cycle. Several times we’ve just ended the cycle and put the clothes back in for rinse and spin. Also, the app and notifications is worthless. I turn on all notifications and still have yet to get one. I have all notifications turned on on my phone. No issues with any other apps. The notification settings do not save. I turn all of them on and when I go back into the app they are all reset. Like I said, very frustrating.

The clothes that are on top when you put them in the washer are still on top when the washer is finished. Only the clothes in the very bottom of the washer get water and moved around. I had a sweatshirt that had chocolate on it when it went in (unknown to me) and I still could scrape off the chocolate when it was “clean”. I’m actually very disappointed and am looking into replacing it. Even using the deep water feature doesn’t submerge all the clothes even if it is a small load. The agitator barely moves the clothes… I do like the load n go soap dispensing feature.

Rated 1 de 5 de Heartbroken par Was good while it lasted I absolutely loved my washer and dryer set when I got it, but a year and a half later I'm stuck with a broken machine and 2 weeks in still waiting on someone to "come look at it". I love the load and go detergent. I love the removable agitator. But what good is loving something when it only last 18 months. Now the front is leaking water like crazy and flooding out my laundry room. After a little research this is an apparent problem with this model that still hasn't been fixed by the manufacture. I'm out money for the laundry-mat and time sitting there wasting. This is what I expect with a foreign made washer which is why we chose whirlpool!! For the reliability right?!?! Heartbroken. Such a hassle and a pain, and they aren't cheap!!

It’s very loud and I have a feeling it’s going to break very soon. I told myself when I bought a new washer I shouldn’t buy one with lots of bells and whistles because it’s just more to break…. Should’ve listened to my own advice. It takes so long to pick a setting, especially since if you push a certain button it adjusts back to the previous setting so you have to adjust everything every single time. And the worst thing, I have to adjust/rearrange loads constantly. Almost every load. I’ve never had to babysit a washing machine before. I wish I could send it back 😞

I also do not like the laundry soap dispenser, as it does not completely empty with every wash. I use different laundry soap for different clothes (towels versus sweaters) and I have to take the soap dispenser out, rinse it out, put it back in so that I can use Woolite instead of Tide. What a hassle! I get that the dispenser is made so that I can put a large amount of laundry soap in at once, however, if you use different types of soaps this may not be the machine for you.

I tried changing the concentration of the detergent on the load and go dispenser. I tried not using fabric softener. I tried using the extra rinse cycle. Nothing works. I also am going through laundry detergent so much faster with the load and go dispenser. Not worth it. I am returning this washer and getting a different brand, and one that I can put in the laundry soap myself and control how much it uses. The matching dryer is terrible as well.

Had the top load for so many years but moved to the front load as that was the trend and but they had features we wanted. We’ll after just one year we were ready to switch back. When whirlpool came out the the removable agitator we were sold. We use the agitator for every day items and we’ve noticed our clothes have come out cleaner and softer then with the from load washer. We removed the agitator and wash our blankets. The tub is huge and works great for the large blankets. Love that feature and also the load and go works perfect for us. Really enjoy having our top load back again!

Prior to this washer I had an HE front loader that I felt like never sufficiently cleaned my clothes. Often things smelled bad or still like the perfume worn with the clothes. Two weeks after having this washer my child said I feel like my clothes are cleaner now! I didn’t think I would like the load and go option but I honestly love it. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 start rating is because I can’t get it to stay connected to our WiFi. Since the washer is located in the basement it would be nice if it stayed connected and could alert my phone as to when a load is done.

I learned the features quickly on this washer and really like how it functions. Gets clothes very clean, water spins out well, so it takes much less time to dry the clothes compared to my old dryer. What a nice difference! I like the little scrub brush inside the lid area and the water fountain feature to pre-scrub a stain. It worked well with just a dab of soap and the scrub brush on a baseball hat. I have not used the machine with the agitator yet! But I'm sure I'll find a use for that soon. Finally I like the gray color!

BUT then you assume you can put a lot of clothing in, but if you do that there's not enough water to clean them. I've reached in at the end of a wash cycle and pulled out clothes that still had dry spots. Also, I occasionally have white residue on the dark clothing. I'm guessing it's soap that is trapped in the clothes and not getting fully rinsed out (maybe from a lack of water). I want to minimize water use, but I do want my items clean. Worried I should have gotten a front loader.

Had to google constantly to learn how to operate the machine! It took a long time! Finally love the dispenser best feature !!! Machine makes too much noise! Other than that is fine! Too difficult for the elderly which I am at age of 76! Luckily I have an I phone ! Google helped me and at my age that was a challenge ! So one should come over with delivery and explain step by step how to operate these items or make an appt to show how to use the machine or a video!!!

First off there isn’t nearly enough water being dispensed for each cycle, even when choosing the max fill option. It doesn’t even cover the top of the clothes. You would think during the wash cycle with an agitator that it would wash clothes more effectively but the clothes don’t move more than 1/4 inch during the actual cycle! …… an hour and a half later when the cycle is supposedly don’t the clothes that were on top came out dry and dirty because they never actually submerged.

The instructions are so poor and general in nature that I suggest a call to Whirlpool Customer Service. They answered a number of questions for me about how it works which made the usage much clearer. All in all, I really like the machine. The water gets hotter than my other one, I love the agitator removal feature. I usually run it on "max fill" and it does take a while to get to that level as it goes through about 30 minutes of "sensing" before it fills all the way up. This is frustrating, but once I understood what was happening, it is okay.

The bonus was that it comes with an agitator that is removeable. It is easy to take out and put back in. The large tub makes washing king size bedding a breeze. I love that it is load and go. I don't have to measure detergent every time I wash. I also love that is senses the load size and automatically determines how much water is needed. It does take a little bit longer than my old (12 year old) washer to wash a load, however all of the other features makes up for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one to replace my 13 month old LG washer and I doubt this one will make it that long. It has a load of nice technical features such as removable agitator and load and go. That latter feature is meant to allow you to fill with detergent and forget about…kind of like the rinse aid for your dishwasher, but mine didn’t work. Imagine washing your clothes and learning that there wasn’t any soap used…that might save you money but won’t give your clothes that fresh off the line smell. Other than that I like it…let’s just see what the repairman has to say about that load and go issue though.

The cycles don't work as well as other washer I've had. The plastic parts are cheap and break easily. It seems to snag clothing and is hard on fabric. The load and go seems to use more detergent than needed. The front corner leaks water sometimes so it makes it difficult to find where it's coming from. The washer is always out of balance, No matter how we load it. The user Manuel is not very informative.

After I do a wash, it seems that the detergent level does not decrease. I keep pressing the "Load&Go" button to see the level of detergent. If it says 75% or 50% when I start a wash, the detergent level does not seem to decrease after the wash is done. I do not believe that I have not disabled the detergent dispenser. I would prefer a less technological system. I have perused the instruction booklet and hope there isn't something malfunctioning with the detergent dispenser. It is frustrating.

It does an ok job but I feel to get better results I need to use the high water level for more agitation. The agitator is slow compared with my old washer. And because it is slow there is not much turnover with the clothes to allow for friction and better cleaning. I am not sure there is any realized cost savings (i.e. electricity, water and detergent usage) because it takes much longer to complete a load of clothes. And if you forgot something in your load, the lid is locked and you can’t add anything. I am trying to adjust to this washer and with time I am hoping to be more satisfied with it.

Of course, the warranty is only a year so now I have to pay to get it fixed. You would think for as much as this thing cost,it would have at least a two year warranty. The malfunction is no water dispenses to wash clothes. Washed a load of towels and the claen machine came on, drop a tablet and turned on clean and it was done in less than two minutes. Tablet still in tub. The tap works for hot and cold but not water comes out for any cycle. WOW!!!! Got to love SENSORS!!!

Bought it because it has the deep water setting which does add more water like older washers. The con is that the agitator doesn’t pull the clothes down to get the clothes under or rotate them so all the clothes can get washed probably. It’ll work for someone who doesn’t have a dirty job. More office oriented than construction. The second con is that even if the load is small the agitator makes a loud noise when it’s washing. I do like that it has a built in detergent dispenser and it adds soap to every load and you can turn that off if you’d like.

Nice large stainless steel tub to fit all my laundry needs. I love the removable agitator and the detergent fill tank so I don't have to pour detergent in every load. The water spout is definitely a plus as is the removable stain scrubber. I put dawn in it to scrub out grease spots. The laundry comes out fresh and clean. I love the self balancing feature so if a load gets off balance it doesn't bounce all over. It's very quiet too. Just really love thus washer.

The machine works great and has awesome features like a little scrub brush for removing stains and a cup rinser feature that turns on and off with the push of a button. Overall it is a great washer! The only downside I can speak of is that it seems to really go through my concentrated laundry soap faster than when I manually pored it in because of one of the settings allows it to be 2x the soap, or 10x, but I don’t see where I can make it just be one normal dose of soap. Other than that I really love my new washing machine!!

Rated 1 de 5 de Momof3 par Broken after 3 months I was just learning to love this washer. I should have not trusted the reviews as they are all so vague and all have the incentive tag on them. Now it stopped agitating after 3 months and they don't even know if there is a tech near me. I'm so disappointed as I bought a whole whirlpool suite of appliances when I moved into my new house. Our old house was all whirlpool although now they're are a decade old. The quality on all products has really gone down the drain. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to do laundry for 5 people.

I was hesitant at first about the modern technology but it couldn't be more simple. I can load up to a liter of detergent and a supply of liquid fabric softener that get dispensed automatically as needed. The washer automatically senses the amount of water needed for the amount of laundry placed in the drum. It selects the appropriate water temperature and wash cycle based on the type of laundry that I select. It also has a removable agitator to convert the machine into an impeller type if desired.

Water runs in switch between hot and cold fill about 3 inches then the machine start agitating. The clothes is above the water. Then it start again put in water about another 2 inches, start agitating again. It Stop again, more water come in almost covers the clothes. It does several more times, it drives me nuts. Now, for the rinse cycle in the rinse cycle. There is not enough water to cover the clothes during the entire rinse cycle, but it does seem to rinse twice. It is a nice big tub, and it does handle a lot of clothes. I should have bought the maytag.

It cleans well and has all the settings I need. I haven't used all the features yet, so I can't really comment on that, but the ones I have used work great. But it's very deep and I have a hard time reaching the bottom of it to pull clothes out. I need to use a step stool and still find it difficult. I love the removable agitator. It's very easy to remove and put back in and it makes it so nice to be able to wash a comforter or blankets. This washing machine is big and holds a lot of clothes, and a queen size comforter fits easily.

When the washer spins at slow or fast speed, everything seems fine, but when spinning at medium speed, the entire washer wobbles and shakes. The wobble does seem better the more clothes are in it. Also when agitating the clothes, the motor makes an annoying noise that sounds like a beeping truck in reverse. I do like the load and go dispenser, but it seems to go through more detergent than I used to.
