Pleased with our Electrolux washer so far. A couple of thing I learned about the product that might be helpful for others: 1. Rinse cyce uses cold water, therefore when you take you clothes from the washer they are cold. If you washed in your clothes on a hot water cycle one could be left with the impression the hot water cycle was not implemented. 2. Electrolux washers are designed to use today's high efficienct detergerent so only needs to use about 2 Tablespoons of detergent vs. a capful. 3. Also the technician advised once a month putting 1/2 cup CLR (Calcium Lime Rust) in the tub and cycle once a month. This will reduce oder build up.

This machine was replacing a Bosch that lasted 16 years and was one of the first front loaders back then. Wish they still imported a full size version. Comparing the Electrolux to the Bosch, the Electrolux is much louder when operating, something one comments on. I also find the was hquality a bit lower then the older Bosch. I needed a replacement and knew had to decide between the Electrolux and the Asian brands. Still not sure if best decision, but other than comparing to the old machine seems acceptable so far. Just did not wow me like I was hoping. I would be happy if this machine lasts 2/3s the amount of usage I got out of the Bosch

So far so good
A month ago I replaced my 23 year old Maytag top load washing machine with the front load Electrolux after doing a considerable amount of research comparing it to other brands etc. I haven't tried the steam feature but I'm very happy with the features: Love the light that comes on when the door is opened, the ability to easily wash larger items that were difficult to stuff in the top load (such as throw rugs), easy controls, definite water saving, nice soap and conditioner dispenser, the ability to toss in a forgotten item in the beginning stages, the door stand ventilation, and the machine is very attractive. The projected life of this machine is longer than many, hope that ends up to be true in my case.

So Far So Good
Bought my Electrolux Washer about a month ago and so far so good. I basically bought it because I was sick and tired of a competitor (You know--I think the 'unnamed' Repair Man is so over-worked now and so old that he might be in the hospital...???) and the Company that I needed to give another--Electrolux--a chance. The cleaning ratings/reviews were really high and I can't dispute that claim. Cleaning appears good+. However, time will tell about the RELIABILITY (Toyota needs to start making W/Ds). I bought the 5 year extended warranty which one should NOT HAVE to do. Electrolux should have the desire to make an exceptional, reliable product...

We recently had to replace our 18 year Maytag Washer; the dryer was still going strong but we wanted a matching set. We've had the units for about 2 months and the are working perfectly. Whites are definitely whiter. The only two issues I have which are not really major is the Washer dispense drawer tends to hold water after each use, so we have to dry it out after each use. No biggie! The other is more of a recommendation. My old units were Maytag and they seemed to set higher. Unfortunately, we did not purchase the pedestals at the time of purchase. Now I wish we would have because both units sent really low. We will be purchasing the pedestals soon.

We went shopping for a new washer & dryer set with GE brand in mind. A salesperson showed us this set, we actually never heard of Electrolux washers & dryers. It was a beautiful set, but looks was not what we were after. After looking over the washer & being impressed with all the washing options and the detergent options (being you can use liquid or pods, etc), and the biggie was the great price, we took a chance & bought it! We are loving it! We stacked them to optimize our mud room space. There are so many awesome things about this washer I can’t list them all! You’ll just have to read up on it. But if you decide on the Electrolux, you won’t be disappointment!!

Love these machines!
I originally ordered a different brand, and due to the circumstances the salesman suggested I purchase Electrolux instead. They were price equivelent, and I was told that it was easier to find service for these products. I am so glad I did! The washer is a super extractor, and I feel like my whites are less gray now that I am using this machine (family says they don't notice, but they don't count!) The machines are pretty and the drawers under them are nicely sized and slide with no resistance. I've only had them for a month, but I am hoping to have them for years! Great appliance... Now, do they make a Fridge?

Everything we've thrown at the washer has worked well thus far. We have several dogs and are always cleaning their beds. The steam removes odors very well. The spin balances nicely and the estimated time has always been the same as actual. Our old front loader had continuous problems balancing the load for the spin which resulted in very long total wash times. We mostly use the cold water setting with medium spin and have had excellent results with this.
Only complaint is the blue color of the main cycle selections. Looks great in the showroom but cannot be seen with the lights in our basement. Had to make P touch labels for these settings and now all is fine.
