Le ruban à mesurer de marque Lufkin(MD) comporte une lame brevetée de 1-3/16" avec une portée jusqu'à 11'. Il offre un contrôle sécuritaire du retour de lame avec le doigt, une lame avec un fini clair mat qui procure une meilleure visibilité et durabilité ainsi qu'un crochet avec grippe sur 360 degrés avec prise sur tous les côtés. Son boitier optimisé permet plus de confort et une meilleure prise, le retour de lame se fait sans pincer le doigt. De plus, il offre sécurité pour les travaux en hauteur et un point d'attache et bandes protectrices du cran d'arrêt. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie d'un an contre défauts de fabrication.

The rubber coating is a great grip feature and the “quick brake” access comes in handy as well. The belt clip is sturdy and the tension holds it in place at all times. I didn’t use the tether hole but considered it as an extra that could come in handy. The large print numbers are very easy to read even for an older set of eyes like mine. The oversized end hook is another great feature. I have no complaints about this tape measure. The quality is way above average. The tape measure is now a permanent addition for my tool bag.

Has a nice coating over the tape itself. Has his excellent front hook That has what they call a 360° grip hook.which is perfect for when working alone. This has a really neat cut out on the bottom for using your finger to slow the tape down as it retracts back in. Also has about a 12 foot stand out which again is perfect when working alone. I would recommend this to anybody who works on home projects alone or even a professional.This has what they call a 360° hook so it is easy to use.

You can extend out the tape measure 12ft without it "snapping" and not holding itself up. This tape measure has a precision finger control to help with holding it in place without need to use the lock. The numbers on the first 100 inches of this tape measure are very large and almost too large in my opinion. Once you get past 100 inches the numbers are closer to a more typical size that you would expect on a tape measure. Overall a nice tape measure, but it would be my second choice from the ones that I typically grab.

The construction solid, the tape thick and sturdy, it has a good hook at the end that is double sided which is a unique touch. It works smoothly with a good lock and allows finger tip control with the retraction. But I had two issues. A small issue is it would have been nice if the hook at the end was magetic. Not a big deal. Secondly it has no clip as far as I can tell so you can't mount it to your belt or hook it onto your tool box. Not sure if mine came off or they aren't made with it. That is a bigger issue for me. Still very good.

It fits in the hand well and is easy to grip. The tape measure has a strong return spring while not being difficult to pull out the tape. What makes this tape measure different from other I have owned is the matter finish on the tape itself. The clip seems to be pretty sturdy too. The only issues that I have experienced are the stop catching on the end when you first pull the tape out and a smearing of the numbers. The smearing may be the stop rubbing, but I cannot be sure.

So, as expected, this tape measure is bigger and heavier than those. The tape itself is about 1.25 inches in width and, as a result, the numbers on the tape are bigger. That's especially helpful for those who may have vision issues. Other features include a clip-on for belts or pants, a lock button, standard stud markings, standard joist markings and an opening on the bottom of the case to apply your thumb/finger for braking. This tape measure only gives measurements in feet and inches. So, if you need cm or mm markings then you probably want to choose another tape measure.

This one has a opening on the bottom side so your finger can hold the blade in place instead of using a lock..... I am not sure about this feature. I just wish they would come back out with the tape measure that had the automatically locking blade and then you just squeeze the bottom finger lock it to retract it. I miss those. Back to this one, it is easy to read, had a great stand out distance of 10+ ft and a large tap on the end to easily hook and measure. Overall a good tape measure with nice features.

I can easily read the tape without my reading glasses which is a huge plus since I don't like wearing them while I am working. The standout is more than adequate for most people. The finger brake is in the perfect (natural) location. I cannot attest to the durability since I have not had it that long and have not dropped it. I am usually very careful with my tools and they tend to last. This feels like it will last a long time. Overall I would recommend this tape to anyone looking for a 25' tape measure at a reasonable price.
