Rated 5 de 5 de par 53 Year old Grandmother, first time plumber, it wo I am a 53 year old widow, who was used to having a handyman around the house. Since the death of my husband, I have put off fixing a leak in the basement water line to the toilet. I was told about these fittings by a plumber at a garage sale of all places. I used these fittings with pex tubing and it really is as easy as it says. I used do it yourself books and you tube, and found out through research about pex tubing (which I had never heard of before) and cut the copper pipe in the two places and used these fitting to connect the pex to the copper and it worked like a charm. When it says the ends need to be square though, you must be sure they are. I am going to do some more plumbing and will ALWAYS use these fittings. Just fyi. I knew absolutely nothing about plumbing before.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Look like a Pro Guys and Gals I live in a retirement community and somehow I've been dubbed as the block handyman? A friend returned home (to Florida) from NC to spend the winter. When they turned their water on they found a leak in the 1/4" flexible plastic tubing that supplies water and ice on the fridge door. Yes - I got the call. When I looked at it the entire line needed to be replaced for that one pin hole. But to replace the line was a disaster, the only way to disconnect the line was to lay the fridge in it's back which is a no-no. So I went to lowes to buy a replacement copper line and found this Watts PL-3000 quick connector for a few bucks. Being old school i thought no way will this work at 90 PSI. What was even scarier was the directions, "remove damaged area, cut tubing square, push both ends into connector until they bottom out" That was it! I followed the directions and 30 seconds my friend was back in business, made a believer out of me, go for it

Rated 5 de 5 de par Quick and painless My first experience with PEX and also with quick connection type fittings. Worked very well and was fast and easy to use. I am excited to try these fittings for PVC.
