Rated 5 de 5 de RS par Hitachi 15G finish nailer Can't speak for long term durability, just got out of the shower after the first day using it. The depth adjustment works and is labeled on the nailer. Nothing to remove, open or unlatch to reload. Press a strip of nails in from the back, slid them up, pull back the spring loaded charger and it picks them up and pulls them forward. Nose protector has a home on the side of the unit on a little stud. Flip lever for single shot or tap and go. It wants regulated and oiled air but you can add a few drops to the unit per the manual, twice a day. Comes with allen wrenches and books and a male quick connect stud installed. They need to drop in a box of nails. That is my only complaint so far.

Maybe there was a bad batch or something, but I slammed four clips through mine with not even a hint of an issue. When I say slammed, I mean slammed. I bump fired an entire 1/4 panel on to the back of a barn door on my garage, and I over-nailed the whole thing, and I nailed it rapidly, one right after the other. Shot beautifully. Perhaps these men did not oil their weapon before beginning? I don't know. Mine has been great, and I would recommend it to anyone. Do not forget to oil, 5-7 drops before you start, and if you are using it all day, another 5 drops after lunch. Make sure your air pressure is right and make sure you have nails in it! This gun comes with a five year warranty, so if it breaks, take it back!

Rated 5 de 5 de Eddie par Remodeling? Get this. I bought this nailer about a year ago and have had absolutely no problems with it. It's never misfired or jammed. I find it to be easy to get into tight corners thanks to the angled design and it's easy to tell when the safety is engaged. The depth adjustment is versatile, but takes some getting used to. I recommend using some scrap wood to test out the depth. I like the air blower feature, but I inevitably hit it with my hand while working on a project every time. Gives you a good scare ;) I've put up hundreds of feet of trim, wainscot, and other moldings with ease. My only other complaint, besides the noise, is that I lost the nose cap after the first project. It would have been nice to be provided with, say, 3 of them in the box for just that occasion. Other than that, I love it!

Rated 5 de 5 de woodchuck27 par great tool great value I bought this nailer over a year ago I was in the hardwood flooring trade and used it daily and shot well over 20,000 nails throught it in a 5 month time and never had one issue with it . Since then had to give it up but without a doubt I will buy another one in the near future. I would how ever would like to see them include a small starter box of nails in the box so there is something to compare it to when you goto buy more so there is no mistake about what you need

Rated 5 de 5 de mikep par Best finish nailer by far. This is my second hitachi angled finish nailer. I gave my first one to one of my employees who was always asking to use it. It outperforms any 16 or 18 ga. finish nailer. It is a must have for installing things like vinyl trim or hardwood floors.. I have never had a jam after thousands of nails. Sets nails consistently. Blower comes in handy.

Rated 4 de 5 de Luke par good tool I've been in construction for over 30 years and no tool can meet my excellent standards, this tool is up there. Used it for a few days at my new [older]house and no troubles at all, just run out of nails and have to reload, It will shoot a nail through the wood if you miss a stud or backing so keep the pressure down for safety {70 PSI on tool pressure has been enough for me} and do not let anyone be down line of the firing line. Nailing on my screen porch, I missed the stud and the nail bounced around the porch. It could take more pressure to shoot real wood, if they still have that

Would have been nice to see that in the manual. As this is my first air tool, I have nothing to compare it against but I'm impressed so far. I used it to replace some brick mould around my windows and it did the job perfectly. Sure beats using a nail set. The manual said to start with a psi of 70 and work your way up. The gun seemed to work just fine at 70. I have not had any jams yet so I'm not sure how easy they are to clear. I also like that it came in a hard case.

Rated 5 de 5 de Captain13 par Great Nail Gun I was skeptical of buying this gun because all the reviews I read talked about how loud it is when it shoots a nail. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is. It actually seems quieter than my Bostich shooting 16 gauge finishing nails. The 15 gauge is definitely a noticeable improvement over the 16 gauge. I used the Hitachi to set over 200 ballisters on a new deck before putting final screws in. The 15 gauge consistently shot straight in whereas the 16 gauge was going thru the ballisters and consistently turning out between the ballisters and the 2x4. The only problem I had was on the initial setup, I was running the gun at 70psi and it was only shooting a nail every other time. I adjusted the pressure to 90psi and that corrected the problem. I didn't have another misfire the rest of the day. The gun is relatively light and very well balanced and easy to handle. The removable anti-mar tip stows securely on the magazine. One drawback is that the 15 gauge fasteners are expensive and there are not a lot of options at Lowes other than the Hitachi brand.
