You can select your subscription plan with Nest (owned by Google) by buying a 5 day, 10 day or 30 day recording plan. It's retrievable from any device including your phone, and you can rewind, make a clip, etc.

How many megapixels does this can have?

The Nest Cam Indoor "1/3 inch, three megapixel sensor is made up of large, high-quality pixels so you can see every little detail, day or night." As this is a video Camera more then a image camera the more important stat is that it shoots in 1080p HD quality video.

Rated 4 de 5 de Basement/Dog Camera par Great Camera minus the subscription Nest Indoor Camera does exactly what I want it to in terms of watching my puppy and my main entryway in my basement. Ease of installation and quality of product is excellent. My only drawback is that I have to pay for a subscription in order to have full access to all the Nest Camera's functionality. As I have already paid more than virtually every other direct competitor of Nest's I found this to be a little excessive. As the other products get better I would take a serious look at switching platforms completely. My goal is to have about five (5) cameras total in my home. The Nest Aware subscriptions makes this a very expensive task unfortunately.

I often delight and share video clips with my wife of successful package retrievals within ONE MINUTE of delivery ... however ... the camera frequently alerts to lights and shadows in the target "motion zone". The product would receive 5 stars from me if the web-enabled artificial intelligence / machine learning engine could learn to focus more accurately on deliberate human and animal motion, while ignoring inadvertent lights and shadows. I do recommend this product and hope that additional improvements to the motion-detection algorithms will materialize over time.

Rated 1 de 5 de YoGuy par Not a good buy. Unless a monthly subscription is taken out, these cameras are not worth the price of the box they come in. They are absolute garbage. All the great features aren't available if you don't subscribe. If the camera detects motion, a notification is sent out but it doesn't record anything, it send a picture. The capture it takes misses the activity. Spend a little more and get something that does not require a monthly fee.

Rated 5 de 5 de Nest Can User par Peace of Mind Goes a LONG Way! We received the Nest Indoor Cam as a gift. We set it up prior to going on vacation so we could watch our pets and also talk to them. It was fun to watch them turn their heads wondering where we were physically. The Nest Cam is situated so it sees our entire living room, front room, and kitchen area (great room) so that is quite an expansive area of our home. The Nest Cam buys us peace of mind to check and ensure things at home are fine. You cannot put a price on peace of mind. The vision quality of the camera is amazing. The video / picture is crystal clear, even at night, which was a very nice bonus to the Nest Cam.

Almost too easy to set up and works incredibly well.Although only up for about 10 days so far it continues to monitor my home and provides an additional sense of security when ever someone or something approaches the room. Compliments my Nest thermostat as the app shows all the pertinent information you would need with a single glance on my phone of both the current temperature of my home and the room where the camera is placed NEST continues to provide exceptional everyday products to make our lives easier and better A great product

My wife was super freaked out about creepers getting into our childs baby monitor and watching or talking to our baby through the very device we were hoping to utilize to keep our child safe. I did my research and the Nest Cam was the no brainer choice. The back end support from Google is second to none and gives you the ease of mind while enjoying an amazing product to boot. Set up is remedial and easy enough for anyone. Looks great as well and isn't imposing in your home.

After an easy setup, I knew I had the best camera available in the price range. Combined with the App, I only get necessary notifications. All video is sharp and detailed which is exactly what I was hoping for and needed. I utilize a number of cameras for security and always rely on the Nest products for information I need. Our family plans to purchase a third Indoor Camera for baby monitoring. The zoning will work great for baby movement and the microphone will pick up every sound and allow us to communicate back to the baby. Afterward, I have another security camera. Can't beat that!

I already have the Nest thermostat and two smoke detectors, so this complemented those perfectly. I love having all of my home technology and monitoring in one app. The camera has a great wide view so I can see more than just what it's pointed at. I can even hear what's going on in my home. The most helpful feature for me is the Home/Away Assist. This turns the camera off when I am actually in my house. I don't have to do it manually or have it give alerts everytime I walk into the room. I would highly recommend this!
