I have used this brand in my smoke detectors for over 10 years. Although we are asked to replace batteries in smoke detectors yearly. These have only had to be replaced every 5 years. Now they can last up to 10 years as the back up battery for smoke alarms. This is wonderful. Replacing our back up batteries for our smoke detectors is a real pain. You can always depend on these batteries. I used cheaper batteries just one time and learned my lesson. I had to replace each one in one year. Stick with a great product which is Energizer batteries.

Rated 5 de 5 de Styrchn par Reliable brand [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I might cheap out on batteries in some cases, I definitely don't mess with junk when it comes to batteries in my smoke detector. I hate when it goes off in the middle of the night.) Energizer is one of my go-to brands for reliability and the MAX batteries are meant to last for years (which is great, all the longer between replacing the smoke detector.) I didn't realize different batteries have different use cases - some for high energy needs, other for low, slow and steady. This is for low, slow, steady use cases like your smoke detector or an emergency flashlight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I don't use very many 9V batteries these days, I do need them for the most important safety items in my apartment, which are my battery operated smoke alarms. Energizer is a brand I have trusted for years and these Energizer MAX 9V Batteries do not disappoint. Even though I know that these batteries have a very long life span before I need to replace them, I still check both smoke alarms on a monthly basis. Thank You Energizer for offering high quality, dependable 9V batteries that I can count on. I sleep so much more soundly when I know that my smoke alarms are in working order. A+ recommendation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always keep a good stash of batteries around as I live in the northeast and we have our good share of wind, snow, rain, and even hurricanes. This was a welcome addition to the arsenal and I put it in one of my high-powered LED lanterns just in time for a storm that took our power out for a few days. Even when using my lantern overnight to guide me through the house and to read, I got no flickering or lapse of performance like I'd get from other or generic brands. I've been able to rely nicely on Energizer batteries over the years and I'm going to keep doing that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When looking to replace the batteries of the smoke detectors in my house I didn't want any ordinary battery. I wanted something I knew would last long and I could depend on.When I saw the Energizer Max name I knew the Energizer name meant it was a good battery , but when I saw the Max name I knew it had to be even better. Also on the package it said they had a 5 year shelf life , so although the smoke detectors are hardwired and the batteries are for back up I knew they weren't going to fizzle out and die just sitting there. Yes I replace them every year, but I know I can count on these to last that long and probably longer.

I am currently using an Energizer MAX Alkaline 9 Volt Battery. It comes in a 1 pack. I buy them as I need them but the label says it has a 5 year shelf life and I do like that the battery itself shows the expiration date on it. I have never had my smoke detector beep to indicate there is a low battery and I do a test every month to make sure it is working, so I will stick with using Energizer batteries since they work.

We had smoke detectors that would still beep even with new batteries. Once we switched to using the energizer brand the issue stopped. I questioned it with a couple handymen I know as well as the manufacturer of the smoke detector. Both said “off brand” batteries don’t always work well in some electronic items. With Energizer Max having a 5 year shelf life and long lasting energy, it’s safe to say there are a few extra on hand for when a battery change is needed. This a must have battery to make sure your electronics are working to their best potential.

They are extremely reliable for all my battery powered products. I used one of these in my smoke detector and one in a lantern I use on my backporch regularly. They provide strong, consistent power. My lantern is still burning bright and I have been using the battery for several weeks now. I've always loved the Energizer brand. Definitely one of the best batteries out there. They are excellent quality and have never failed me. I definitely recommend them.
