Poêle à granules en acier, 48 000 BTU, 2 200 pi², noir est évalué 3.0 de 5 de 10.
Rated 2 de 5 de par Good stove but smoked badly! This is the fix. Stove was installed to manufacturers recommendations. Stove smoked no matter how much air it was given. US stove was useless in solving the problem! This is the fix that I used to correct the problem. Drill an additional row of air holes in the burn pot bottom toward the rear of the pot. This allows air to get to the fuel in this area, this mod corrected the smoke problem. Now the stove runs great! If your willing to drill some holes the stove seems to be a good stove for the money.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Vogelzang 5770 Started using mine winter of 2015. For the fist 4 years ran with out problems. This year getting very black sooty burn and burn pot over flows pellets to the side when the ash is supposed to fall then they sit and smolder in there for several hours and they should not be vacuumed out (unless you have a "fireproof" type vac). Going to try replace thermal disc sensors (room & exhaust) and add a Klinkerking burn pot extender to see if these problems can be corrected. Stove is in unfinished/unheated basement hooked to masonry chimney. I would not recommend this stove for the "upstairs or living portion of the house" mostly due to the mess and noise of the fan motor.

Rated 5 de 5 de par First pellet stove Saw this stove at tractor supply for almost half the price. Got it price matched installed on a pre existing hearth and fireplace. I was trying to find a shallow stove to accommodate my needs to heat my 2000 sq. Ft. Home and stay on my hearth. This stove was installed with 4 inch exhaust single wall flex on a vertical run of approximately 15 feet and a 3 inch fresh air intake running next to the exhaust pipe. In an insulated masonary chimeny. My home is older and poorly insulated with thick masonary walls that new york winters help the stone suck the heat right out of my house. I run this stove on its lowest setting and on a single digit degree day it kept me at 68 degrees and on tjis setting im only burning a bag of lowes platinum pellets. (Greene team platinum). Its been about a month or two with no issues and very efficent. Im beyond satisifed with my purchase and hope to continue having great luck and savings on fuel oil.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Pellet Stove! We have a 1950 square foot ranch, and this pellet stove heats the whole place! Easy to use, just load it and turn it on. I only clean it maybe once a week or every two weeks, and the remote control makes it nice.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good little stove We have been running this stove for two winters now. Though I have owned wood stoves before, this is my first pellet stove, so I don't have the experience compare it to other stoves. Compared to a wood stove, pellet stoves are much safer and cleaner. There are no sparks from pellets like there is from wood. There is virtually no (if any) creosote build up so its easier to clean an less of a safety hazard. The stove is safe to touch on the sides and top; no risk of burn. The exhaust pipe, while hot, is not nearly as hot as one coming from a wood stove, and therefore has less risk of fire. If the door is inadvertently not closed or not completely sealed, the stove shuts down automatically. You can load additional pellets while a fire is going without opening the door on the burn chamber, so again it is more safe than a wood stove. The obvious down sides are that it does require electricity (not much, but it is required), and you must use pellets instead of chopping your own wood. Starting this pellet stove just requires pressing a Start button and waiting about 10 minutes for the fire to reach temperature. Our home has an electric furnace that we decided cost too much to operate. Where we live the winters are mostly mild but it can get down into the low 20s and occasionally the teens, but mostly hovers in the 30s in the coldest months. We bought this stove for our 1250 sq foot home that has 4 inch walls and questionable insulation; especially in the ceiling. Although we have double-pane windows they are of the cheapest kind and the windows span nearly two of the four walls. I mention all of this so that it is understood that we have a LOT of heat loss. That is why we bought a stove that was designed for a larger house. Our stove is located in the living room on one end of our house. The house doesn't have an open floor plan and the living room narrows to a hallway, reducing the amount of heat that gets to the other end of the house. Because of this, the difference in temperature from one end to the other is at least 15 degrees and perhaps more. This year we started supplementing heat in the bedrooms with portable heaters which we only run in the evening and night. Other than the bedrooms on the opposite end of the house, this stove heats nicely. But this is mainly the result of our floor plan, not to the stove itself. Our living room is about 360 square feet and this stove keeps this room toasty warm. Beyond the hallway is the kitchen and dining area; which is also kept warm, although perhaps about 10 degrees cooler. The temperature then tapers off significantly as it tries to make its way into the bedrooms. We estimate that heating our home with the electric furnace would cost us about $350-450 per month during the coldest months and we have the lowest electric rates in the country. We have consistently burned through two tons of pellets per year which we purchase at $240 per ton ($480 / year). So the cost savings is obvious! Pellet Volume This stove holds a bag and a half of pellets. On the lowest setting a bag will last more than 24 hours. As the temperature outside goes down you must of course increase the setting. If I remember correctly, at the highest setting a bag lasts less than 8 hours. Maintenance Unlike some pellet stoves this one has no ash tray so it must be vacuumed out; preferably every day (or at least after every bag or two of pellets). We initially used our vacuum cleaner for this but that put a lot of dust in the air and filled up too quickly so we bought a mid-sized shop vac which does a much better job. The shop vac is cleaner, holds more dust and debris and is stronger so it gets the job done with less fuss. But that means that we have to keep the shop vac close at all times. It is especially important to clean out the removable burn chamber thoroughly. If the too many holes on the burn box get clogged then the stove wont have enough airflow to burn properly and will shut itself off. After about every ton of pellets burned the stove and exhaust pipes need a thorough cleaning. This involves disconnecting from the pipes, using a stove brush in the pipes and sticking the shop vac deep down the pipe. it also includes cleaning out the back of the stove where the exhaust fan is. You also have to take off both side panels, and under that remove a small 3x4 inch panel on either side to vacuum in there or the air flow will get clogged and the stove just won't work. Note that the maintenance requirements are increased depending on the type of pellets you use. Our first ton of pellets were bought at Walmart and this resulted in much more maintenance and many more problems. We switched to a different brand that is made of Douglas Fir and our maintenance problems were more than cut in half. Noise This stove is somewhat noisy. It sits in our living room where the TV is which requires us to increase the volume, especially when the stove is on a higher setting. It is not ridiculously noise, but it is noticeable. Controls This stove only has basic controls, which is probably the only regret that I have. You have two options; the Manual option has five levels of control. The higher you set it the more pellets are use, the louder the fan and the more heat it generates. The second option is temperature; which we have only used a couple times because it is a bit weird. If the stove reaches the temperature you set, it slows down to the lowest setting but never goes off. Overall I am happy with the stove. Once I understood the maintenance requirements I found it quite easy to use and maintain. It saves us a LOT of money for very little effort.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Awesome Stove, Solid Built. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove to heat my basement. After setup it worked well. Seemed like it was short air at the igniter tip. Being the engineer I am added holes bottom of cup near igniter. It starts quickly now and actually heats the whole house on number 2 setting. Seems like a great stove for the money.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Very temperamental stove. When I called for technical support, the person gave no help. I am trying to get the side panels off and was told to just pull it off. I explained that I have been wiggling and pulling for a half hour before I call. The response was I don’t know what else to tell you. To some it up. If you want a good easy experience with a pellet stove, don’t buy this one.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Worst stove ever We had our less than a year and the company had to warranty it. They sent us a new one and that one to broke shortly after having it. This model is not worth getting stay away!! We purchase a new one through a dealership and have no issues.
