Being cordless it you can use it for many projects around the home or even jobsite. I recently used it to sand down some wood Adirondack chairs to repaint and I was impressed with the results. The battery life is above average for cordless tools I have used. This sander had more than enough power to get the job done. I would highly recommend this product.

A lot of care was taken in designing and picking the materials. The upper portion has rubber inlay for grip and comfort while gripping. Which also helps the effects of vibration. The battery also performed above my expectations. The dust collector could be larger but would not be an issue if using a collector. Overall I like this sander a lot.

I especially like the attachments the nose extension tension really allows you to get into tight corners on your woodworking In my case I use glue and when it drips out of the joint you need a way to get in that corner and really smooth it out and this allows you to do that

The walls and wooden cabinets looked terrible and there's been so much to repair. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The vibration isn't uncomfortable like others I have used. Cordless of course and still quite lightweight, even with the added battery. The pointed end makes getting into cabinet grooves and other small spaces easily. It works to remove various materials quickly, helping me get my job done faster. The dust collection bag and the option to use a vac hose is incredibly helpful and helps keep dust off everything. The sander I had been using made such a mess! I had no issues using the sander with the craftsman rechargeable batteries. It's a very powerful sander and good for many different types of jobs. I can't wait to continue using it on some of my furniture projects!

And the main takeaway I have for this sander is “wow!” It does everything you’d expect a sander from the world’s best power tool maker to do. I needed a tool that I can use without the impediment of a cord. And this certainly does the trick, and it does just as good of a job as my corded version. Even when pushing down with force, this cordless sander doesn’t lose power or speed. The size is perfect for getting into those small nooks and crannies you can’t reach with other sanders. The battery issue others are complaining about has not affected me. I got around 30 minutes of continuous run time from this sander (I loaded it with 40-grit sandpaper, just as an FYI). If battery time was problematic, I’ve got plenty of compatible batteries from my other Craftsman tools, so I could just switch out if necessary. Bottom line: I’m very happy with this sander.

Very convenient to be battery operated but I wish the battery lasted longer. It is good at sanding in small spaces which are often the most difficult parts to sand but this made it much easier. Overall a good product for home owner use.
