Le radiateur portable Mr. Heater 6 000 - 18 000 BTU est idéal pour une utilisation extérieure. Il ne nécessite pas d'électricité et est silencieux. Something must be wrong with your big buddy heater, my big buddy on high (18,000 BTU) runs for approx 22 hours using a 20lb tank, 45 hours on med (9000BTU) and approx 85 hours on low (4000 BTU)

It can be used indoors but not for long periods of time. Like any gas it uses the oxygen in the room to heat the the area which decreases the available oxygen for breathing. I use mine indoors but for only an hour or so and I open the window a bit.

This heater is meant to operate the way it was designed, by attaching the propane tank to the hose in the back of the heater. Altering the set up of this is not certified by Mr. Heater and doing so, would be done at your own discretion.

No, these heaters are not indoor safe, because the 20 lb tank is located directly in the back of the heater and it is against federal regulation to have a 20 lb tank indoors.

Rated 5 de 5 de 2guys par Great Product Just purchased this heater. We had a similar one named PureGlo that was made in Korea. We had it for nearly 15 years. It did the job, but it was hard to start and the pilot light was easily extinguished. This new one is made by Mr. Heater. It is totally different, partly because it is made by Mr. Heater in the USA. It incorporates some of the technology that Mr. Heater uses in their Big Buddy Heaters. Once the propane hose is charged the pilot lights immediately. Then it lights the heat units when they are selected. Plus, the pilot light doesn't go out with the slightest of disturbance by air movement. It is better than I expected, by far.

It does cause fume smell but learned by running it wide open on high right after lighting then adjusting down it doesn’t smell. Been working in a cold miserable garage here in Pa for 20 years, where it rains about 240 days per year, current temps 40-45 degrees. This heater warms the garage from a damp miserable place to be to cozy 65 degrees in about 30 min. It could be made little beefier, better wheels even at little higher price for a more heavy duty use. Anyways if it falls apart I’ll buy another. Love this heater though!

To start with I was looking for another type propane heater and when discussing my needs with the associate she showed me this unit. It really met all my needs and has excellent heat control and so far is very efficient. The real bonus was that the tank fits into the back of the unit and with the wheels can be easily rolled into any desired position. I have used it every day for over a month and its worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this unit, its attractive, portable, three heat levels and internal tank holder.

Rated 5 de 5 de RetroFighter par Great heater for our hot tub gazebo! Last fall we bought a hot tub and quickly found out that we needed to block some of the wind so we installed curtains. That works great but getting in and out of the tub is chilly here in the Buffalo NY area we have been down to 12 so far and we needed some heat! I bought one of these and it works great but a little more would be great so I bought a second and it will be shortly! Now with the curtains and the heater the outside is 15 degrees, and the gazebo is in the 60's! I don't know how good it would work in an open space, but our semi enclosed gazebo gets warm! I'm including a photo to show how open the top and bottom are and it still keeps us warmer.

Rated 5 de 5 de RRRR par Works Good I read the reviews in multiple places, You do have to hold the pilot in a few minutes to bleed the air from the lines I guess and the pilot stays on. Setup was easy, no concerns there other than the tank support seems cheap/flimsy, so you have to be careful changing the tank. There is a smell that dissipated for the most part. I think some of is could be old propane in a tank given to me that was filled over 15 years ago. I have a 440 sf unheated attached garage with 12 foot ceilings. It raised my temp from 59 to 70 in 30 minutes on high (all 3 panels light as opposed to low which is 1 panel and medium which is 2 panels). I also used this when the door was open and I was working nearby.

The porch volume is 2800 cubic ft. 25x14x8. At 30 degrees outside air temp, it keeps things comfortable with a sweater and long johns. I am considering buying a second one to keep things even warmer. This heater uses a standard grill size tank of propane in about 16 hours at full blast. I also have a carbon monoxide detector on the porch for additional safety, I would recommend getting one of those with your purchase of this heater. Common sense right? If I could return this heater and do it again, I would have gone with the MR Heater 80,000 BTU heater. This is a much less aesthetically pleasing model but provides a more desirable BTU output for the area I am trying to heat. Just a thought. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. It is easy to assemble and easy to operate. I hope this review helps with your decision.

Rated 5 de 5 de Stacee par Power outage use. This heater is fuel efficient! One propane grill tank lasts 48 hours while running with just 1 heat bar setting! Temperatures got down to 8°! It kept our 14'x40' living room comfortable on the lowest setting. The cabinet stays cool to the touch also. It's a little difficult to get started but it's definitely worth it! We bought 2 of these heaters, and plan to buy another! Best heater purchase we've ever made! Extremely pleased!
