Look at reviews everywhere - you will see the same thing. Compressors are breaking with only a couple year old fridges and dealing with LG to fix them is the worst thing ever. I have a 2 year old fridge and have gone 10 days without a working fridge and am being told it could be 2 more weeks before someone can fix it. When the repair guy came out the first time, he said they are seeing this all the time. Do NOT buy LG refrigerators.

I am pleasantly surprised by how much room I have in this refrigerator. It is whisper quiet. I wish the keypad didn't show fingerprints so easily but the actual fridge doesn't show any prints and I have a lot of kids. The dual ice maker is amazing!! I wish the shelves had a feature to allow taller pitchers but they do fit on the door. Overall I feel like this is a great value!!

I used to have a side-by-side fridge so I am still getting accustomed to the freezer on the bottom. The top drawer in the freezer helps keep things from getting piled too high, but there’s still not any good way to keep everything from getting thrown into a heap in the bottom. Also, this fridge is designed to tip backwards slightly, but it looks like the leaning tower of Pisa, so the installer made a run to Giant Home Store for a beveled board, and now the back wheels sit on a board to make it look level.

This fridge is whisper quiet! It has a huge deli drawer, 2 ice makers, loads of room inside, adjustable shelves to accommodate tall stuff and lots of room in the doors too! I was worried about a counter depth fridge but I love that everything is completely visible! No more deep dark corners that food gets lost in. When I cleaned out my old fridge I found 4 jars of relish that I didn’t know were in there! It’s wonderfully lit inside! It truly is fingerprint proof! And it’s beautiful! Rated 1 de 5 de anhyzer1993 par Compressor noise is unacceptable This is the loudest fridge I've ever heard. The compressor buzzing is really annoying and makes it very unpleasant to be around. Its not white noise that blends into the background, its a very jarring buzzing sound that is prominent. I had an LG tech come look at it directly and told me the compressor noise was part of normal operation and nothing could be done about it. I will be looking to replace this fridge as soon as possible as I am very disappointed in my purchase. If sound is a factor for you I would strongly not recommend.

Rated 5 de 5 de sonicd par Beautiful black stainless steel, quiet operation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this French door, counter depth LG to replace a three year old Samsung four door, French door stainless steel refrigerator because my roommate moved out and took the old one. I'm so happy I purchased the black stainless as it matches the cabinets better than the regular stainless. It resists fingerprints pretty well. This LG is quieter than the Samsung and only makes noise when ice is dropping into the ice bin in the freezer compartment. It holds so much more ice than the Samsung, which is fantastic. We always had to have filled ice trays before but not anymore. The water dispenser shoots out water with more force than our old fridge, which could be good or bad, depending on the size of your glass. The only negative so far is that the clearance at the bottom front of the unit is high enough my robot vacuum gets stuck so I'll have to put a piece of wood or something to prevent it from getting under there.

In January, it began dispensing water (if I weren't in the house, I guess it would have just ruined my floors). I've contacted LG numerous times, and the only thing they've managed to accomplish is send a repairman to break it worse. The refrigerator has been broken more than half the time I've owned it. Based on the value of my and my wife's time and the cost of this awful refrigerator, it would have been cheaper for me to have just had it delivered directly to the dump.

Have only had it for about a week but the major drawbacks are that the freezer is not frost free and already forming ice. Hard to believe that LG cut corners on that option. Also the water that comes out is tap temperature. Will probably be returning it for something with a frost free freezer so we don’t have to use an ice pick to pull items out of the freezer in the future.

This is even after the refrigerator doors have been left close all night. Thank god we live in Seattle where it never gets really hot out. We had technicians come out 4 times with no fix or explanation other than the newer refrigerators aren't insulated as well as the old ones.

With my new LG fridge I will not be worried about that. It is connected to my cell phone and I can tell the temperature and get a warning no matter where in the country I am. Also it has two Ice makers; How cool is That! I love the big double doors on the front. Every thing is not crunched up together. I like the freezer in the bottom, It is so convenient. It was cost-effective, has lots of storage, two ice bins, and we love the magnetic French doors. It even has a ding when the door is left open too long to remind us to close it. Compressor operation is super quiet as well. The reason for the deduction of a star is the water line has always tasted plastic-y. We have replaced water filters and even tried water from the source line that didn’t taste weird. We purchased a water filter pitcher to combat this. Rated 5 de 5 de Happy par Great refrigerator We have had this refrigerator for a year and it's the best we've ever had. The stainless steel is surprisingly fingerprint-proof and easy to clean. We love the two icemakers for convenience different ice sizes. There is lots of interior space even with the counter-depth version. The temperature gauges are accurate and the electronics are easy to use. The vegetable drawer wheels sit on the bottom of the fridge vs. hang on the top of the drawers so they are very sturdy. (Our old fridge drawers broke due to the weight hanging from the top). We were warned by the delivery people that the stainless steel can dent easily but we have not had any issues.

Yes the functions light up when you touch the specific functions, but LG should have had the entire panel light up for 15 seconds the touch of a finger. Otherwise its a great refrigerator.

We have been having problems with an error code for the past three months which seems to be related to the freezer fan not cooling the indoor ice maker and water dispenser. This has now self corrected presumably due to cooler weather here in MN, although in summer the kitchen is temperature controlled to 76 or less and now in the fall 68 degrees. Very frustrating! I expected better from this company for a product only 15 months old.

It doesn't seem to be as deep as the refrigerator I replaced. The vegetable bin is small and I can't get my lettuce crisper in the drawer. If I put it on the shelf, I take away other items. The freezer drawer does not pull all the way out and the top shelf does not give me full access to the items there. I cannot complain about the efficiency of this refrigerator and how quiet it is. I would recommend this to friends who don't have a large family; maybe a couple or a single person.

Two ice makers is overkill for us, but if you have a big family it's nice. BUT, when are designers going to realize that computer design of controls looks different from real life, (Contrast is important!). The ice / water dispenser controls have black print on a dark gray background. This is almost impossible to see without a direct strong light. This model is also lacking a "folding" shelf for tall items, and a divider for the "Glide N' Serve" drawer to separate meat and cheese. Other models do have these. So far, I would buy LG again, but study the specs very carefully.

The 2 ice makers are nice with the one in the door for convenience having smaller cubes and the one in the freezer with larger cubes. It is quiet and plenty big for our family. The best one we have ever owned. I do have one small complaint. The meat/cheese drawer is the full width of the unit, which causes us to have to open both doors to use it. Not a big deal, but would rather have one smaller one on each side so only one door needs to be opened.

I thought the good reviews were sufficient, but LG probably had robots create them because this fridge is a PIECE OF JUNK. Within one month of purchase, it was already broken 4 times. I have changed around my work schedule 3 times for a technician to come out, only to fix it until the moment they step out the door. They even came and replaced the whole sensor board and it was only fixed for 1 hour. The fridge is a piece of junk, but somehow their customer service is EVEN WORSE! The fridge came without an ice bucket for the freezer so I had to use a Tupperware for 2 months because the customer service people couldn't grasp what part I needed even though I told them very clearly and even sent them the link of the part. 2 wrong parts and 2 months later, I finally have an ice bin to catch the falling ice, but that's not necessary anymore because THE FRIDGE HAS STOPPED WORKING. I was excited to see a good reviewed fridge for a good price, but I honestly would have rather paid $5,000 more for something that actually works and not have had to deal with these people. If anyone has better recommendations, please let me know because honestly and Igloo cooler would work better than this piece of junk.

Love the two ice makers, now we can store platters of food instead of breaking it down in smaller containers and forgetting which was in them, saving waste. The Crushed ice mode is a dream,just the right size for drinks. I don't have to use the blender now. O Yeah!! the no fingerprint coating saves my back from polishing every week. We now own Five LG appliances two more to go. The controls are easy to use ( I am not a fan of WiFi appliances ) can't comment on that part.

The counter depth is what we were looking for and this unit is great. We didn't think about the fact that it sits right next to a door jamb and we will have to modify the door opening to make it sit back where it needs to be. There is a little less capacity than our old unit and we are having to make some adjustments for the shallower depth. That is not a significant problem. We love the dual ice makers! We have found that the door unit provides nearly all of the ice we use, but having the lower ice maker gives us all of the supply we have needed so far.

I went back and forth on my decision to purchase this brand due to some of the other reviews but I’ve not had any problem with noise or water tasting bad or anything yet. It is very quiet and I love the counter depth and all the features it has. I replaced a 26 cu ft side by side with this one and it has plenty of room.The only negative I can think of is that you might have to remove a shelf if you need to put something taller in it but it’s not been a problem for me. I keep a half gallon of milk in the door and it hasn’t gone bad.

We originally had a side-by-side 19 ft.³. The 22 foot is a bit larger and has a little more space to work with. Didn’t know if I would like the French style with the freezer at the bottom. I am not one for stackable freezers. But as time goes by I really love the refrigerator. Love the stainless, no fingerprints. I hope that this refrigerator will last us a long time. Have not had luck with LG in The past. It is too hard to find someone to work on LG products in the state of Louisiana, where I live.

We landed on the LG WiFi enabled French door refrigerator. The counter depth fit perfectly in our kitchen. It's stainless steel finish is beautiful. The split upper shelves provide flexibility for taller items without restricting the whole middle shelf to small clearance. As one reviewer noted, the left door slams but we've learned to close it more gently. Freezer space is more limited than our previous side by side but it organizes well. In our open plan kitchen/family room, this is the quietest fridge ever. I actually can't hear it running. We are pleased.

Rated 4 de 5 de Ronherm1 par Good Choice Very glad we chose counter depth as regular depth would have been obtrusive. Appearance, lighting, and function are excellent. Dual icemakers are very handy. Price was competitive with a great rep for reliability. Check out August Consumer Reports. We don't like the design of the wide Glide N' Serve drawer at the bottom of refrigerator compartment as access requires opening both doors. Wi-Fi is an unexpected bonus, but was tricky to set up.

The drawers in the doors are very spacious as well. Excellent product, great looking. I would highly recommend.

The black SS finish blends well with our other SS appliances and the print resistant finish is good. Only negative is I wish the center pullout drawer was divided half so that both doors do not have to be opened for access of the drawer. Adjustable shelves work well and the dual icemaker is useful if large amounts of ice is needed. The in door icemaker allows for removal if the door opening has limited movement if against a wall on the left side unlike other units which require the fridge door to be completely opened for the icemaker bucket removal.
