can the water temperature be changed ? or what is the water temperature coming out of the dispenser ?

I am not sure the water temp can be changed.  However, after using this new fridge for several months now, the water dispenser is used a lot in our house. And water is always cold, not ice-frigid, but nicely cold.  We fill up large water bottles constantly and water seems to be real cold all the time.

Rated 1 de 5 de kbelle par Do NOT buy this refrigerator After 1 year and 1 day of owning this refrigerator the temperature dropped and everything in the freezer melted, the ice melted and water went all over the floor, and the refrigerator was sitting at room temperature. Called for service and they replaced the compressor. Two days later, it went through the same thaw cycle. The temperature fluctuates. Every 2-3 days it goes through some sort of thaw cycle where everything melts. It gets back up to temperature after a day or two and then drops back down to room temp. LG repair tech says this is a known issue with this model. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this terrible refrigerator.

Once i received the refrigerator, I assembled what needed to be assembled and installed it in place. this refrigerator stays very quiet and keeps everything nice and cold. the adjustable shelves and door shelfs have plenty of room for everything plus more. the drawers slide very nicely in and out without hanging up on anything. the doors and freezer operate very smoothly. the Ice Maker and water supply are very good and consistent. i have absolutely no issues after owning this for almost 3 weeks.

The whole purpose of bringing a new fridge into the house was an ice maker. I have a whole family using ice all day long. Even on ice+ mode, you have about 4 glasses worth of pellet size ice (which melts in your twice as fast) before it's empty and needing a whole day to refill. It's about the nosiest dispenser I've ever heard. Forget getting ice at night if there's anyone sleeping. Will be returning. I should have read the reviews first but I instead went by capacity/dimensions.

This refrigerator fit like a glove in the old refrigerator space. Very quiet running. The only complaint we have is the ice maker. When you use the crush ice mode it sprays the ice all over. Even with a wide glass up close you still get ice chips that fly out on the floor. It could use an additional guard of some kind. Also a second ice maker would be better than having to dump excess ice into the holding bin in the freezer.

LG has sent 4 different appliance repair technicians and they still haven't fixed the problem. It's now November. Been waiting for LG to contact me on how it's going but no call for over a month. If I knew it was going to take this long to fix I would have taken this back to Lowes.We have been buying bottled water since our water dispenser does not work. Getting really old.

However, there are a couple things we aren’t happy about and, had we know about them before hand, we would not have purchased this unit. First, the compressor makes a loud, high-pitched sound whenever it runs. It’s horrible. Apparently, though, this is how the fridge is designed and the sound is a by-product is its energy efficiency. In other words, we have to live with it. YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT, TOO! It is so annoying! Second, the ice maker makes a horrible noise. It doesn’t do it every time - but it inevitably does it when guests are over and doesn’t do it when the repair man is here. Go figure. We were told to try to get video of it and we finally did. I’ll share it here. Maybe the repair person will come back out and fix it - but who knows. Third - the left door holds the ice maker and it closes easily (thanks to the weight). The right door must weigh a lot less, because it doesn’t close with a simple push. Thankfully the fridge beeps if a door is left open, but it’s going to take some time to get used to closing it more forcefully. For now, it beeps at us 2-3 times a day because the door doesn’t get shut all the way. Lastly, there is a slot in the freezer drawer that is perfect for pizzas. But unless your pizza is in a box, it will slide down under the drawer and end up on your floor. Hopefully LG will make some adjustments to future models - but for now, I would not recommend this one. We paid too much money to have to deal with these issues and are very disappointed with this purchase.

The ice dispenser makes a loud hi-pitched sound when getting ice. A 2 liter coke bottle will not fit in the lower or middle door shelf. We did not realize it when we bought it, it makes mini ice cubes and the ice bucket is real small. As someone else reported, the water dispenser leaks and leaves a puddle on the dispenser shelf. To post the noise it makes when dispensing ice I have to post a You Tube video so I have not included it but I have enclosed pictures.

I have uploaded a YouTube video of my appliance so that you can get an idea of the noise level. I would NOT recommend this refrigerator if you have an open floor plan, as you will basically be listening to a loud motor running constantly. Perhaps this unit might be acceptable if your kitchen is separated from other living spaces, but I wouldn’t pay the amount of this appliance for such loud operation. Since purchasing this pricey little noise maker, I’ve had to start sleeping with my bedroom door closed at night so that I won’t be awakened by the noise. For reference, I purchased this refrigerator in 2/2020 and it has never functioned quietly. I followed all LG recommendations for reducing noise, even meticulously assured the unit was level, made adjustments to positioning, etc, but the fact is...this unit just operates LOUDLY. The compressor pitch really bothers my family’s ears. Not sure how long we will be able to tolerate this appliance in our home, but certain I will not be purchasing another LG after this costly experience.
