Yes, all 20V DeWalt batteries will work with all 20V Dewalt tools. Personally that’s why I have so many “team yellow” tools. Team red or team teal are alright, even team orange if you’re not going to use it more than a few times a year, but since I don’t have any batteries that hold a charge at the moment, team yellow it is

Come to find out after little research, this can also be used as a polisher/scratch and swirl remover!! After purchasing the pads needed for polishing, it's just applying the pads onto the velcro and that's it! the pads back has the material that is ment for velcro. This sander is so versatile and soo much easier on the hands with low vibration compared to its competitors. Ability to control speeds are a plus feature! Brushless motors! I highly recommend this product and must have to add to your collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dont know what it is about Dewalt sanders, but I always come back for their orbitals (course and cordless). As I start to replace my older tools I've give away from just color matching and focus on now what I feel preforms best. Dewalt sanders just feel ergonomically superior, in addition to have the power no matter what does your on to detail beautiful wood. I've tried others and many feel too built for one hand, or feel like the orbiting patterns are useless. I haven't bought any other brand in the last 15 years, and plan on keeping this habit. Thank you Dewalt for creating such a useful, well developed tool!

This is the most handy sander I’ve ever had in my life. I have been slowly switching out all of my cordless tools to the Dewalt. Im so glad I did, I have never had any issues since starting to swap my tools out three years ago. All the batteries charge all the tools work as advertised with no issues whatsoever. The next thing I’ll get is the new trigger type jigsaw from the wall it’s fairly new but all the reviews are five star I will definitely get it next.

The only setback I have is when putting a higher AH Battery it then makes the sander a little bulky and heavier to use. I really don't mind it much but thats just an obvious added setback if you can call it a setback really. I imagine for an elderly person or younger person that it might pose an issue with a bigger battery but other than that I love it and live the variable speed selection. I actually have 3 of these sanders and am satisfied with the purchase and price of each one. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a durable solid sander that performs well.

I previously owned a $50 corded orbital that was a year or two old & debated whether it would be worth it to pay twice the price for this cordless one. It was more than worth it! You pay for what you get and this Dewalt orbital sander does not disappoint! The variable speed and the dust collector function three times better than the corded one I had prior. It's lighter and so much more user friendly without that annoying cord! Lost of sanding to get done but in half the time now.

Rated 5 de 5 de dmoz par Powerful, cordless precision sanding There's nothing like a cordless sander, and an orbital one at that. This sander is extremely effective and easy to use. It includes a wheel to adjust the speed of the rotating disc, which can come in handy for certain types of woods or desired sanding speed. I can't stress enough how crucial it is for a sander to be cordless. You often need to get into odd positions, and have to move the unit back and forth in long strokes. A cord only makes these scenarios annoying and/or difficult to accomplish. There's also a nice little removable dust bag, so there's virtually no dust to choke on coming from this sander. And it's very easy to click off and empty. Overall, highly-recommended, very easy-to-use sander.

Rated 1 de 5 de ASTEN par Dumps dust everywhere I hate the sander. The weird angle of the dust bag and the battery makes it awkward to use or store. What I really hate about it is that there is no baffle or anything to keep the dust in the bag. Every time you move this thing, it leaves a pile of dust. Since this is a cordless tool, you can bet it will be moved around from job to job, leaving a mess everywhere. Makita and Bosch both put baffles on their dust bags to keep the dust in. Also, the non-standard dust port means it doesn't fit onto vacuum hoses the way that Makita, Bosch and Metabo/Hitachi do. It sands fine, but I wish I had bought a Makita.
