Caractéristiques

Cette scie à onglet Kobalt possède une conception innovatrice de rail compact qui réduit l'espace de travail requis pour l'utilisation de la scie. Comprend une lame de scie à pointe carbure avec 60 dents, une clé à molette pour lame, un sac à poussière, une pince de sûreté, des rallonges rétractables et un manuel. Le moteur puissant à roulement à billes de 15 A fournit une vitesse de 4450 tr/min pour les coupes de moulures et d'encadrement. Les guides coulissants hauts soutiennent les moulures couronnées imbriquées jusqu'à 5 3/4 po et les plinthes jusqu'à 4 1/2 po contre le guide. Le système à rail coulissant double avec roulements linéaires permet un fonctionnement précis et facile. Les coupes d'onglet jusqu'à 55° à gauche et 60° à droite avec 10 arrêts fixes sont les angles les plus utilisés. Poignée de verrouillage du biseau à l'avant pour des réglages précis et pratiques. Coupe transversale maximale jusqu'à 2 po x 12 po (nominal) à 90° et 2 po x 8 po à 45°. Système de guidage laser monté à l'avant, réglable sans outil.

I need one that can travel well and have the features of my larger shop compound sliding saw. This Kobalt saw has all the features; slide to cut wider material, the ability to bevel cut both ways for cutting trim boards, and slide out supports for help holding in place the longer boards. The detent handle to adjust the angle of cut is super easy to operate and lock if you need to. Best 10 inch double bevel sliding compound saw I've found with great pricing...

The slide mechanism is locking up; it sounds like a putty knife on the sidewalk when you slide it in/out. It kind of sounds like metal on metal, and this saw is 20-hrs. old., yes 20 hours. 2. The laser will not align properly square. 3. The bevel adjustment knob locks up, can barely move it, then it came off. Now, i can't adjust it without pliars. 4. The lock mechanism to lock the top down, so you can carry it with the handle; well, it will not go in far enough to lock, and drops every time I pick it up. 5. The dust/debris bag is useless; it blows right thru, and all over my garage.

Bought it because it fits in back seat of my truck and doesnt take a lot of room up like the 12 inch saws do. The constant complaint i truly noticed was that the dust bag is pointless. And its true. The saw seems to kick the dust out before the dust collecter has a chance to grab the dust. The laser was a little tricky to sync in but i usually just line my blade up to my mark regardless so that issue is moot to me. Overall the saw is decent especially for price. Main reason i bought it was it was dual bevel and sliding allowing me to handle most trim work and is very easily moved around.

Saw #2, pick it up by the carrying handle to pull it out of the box, carrying handle snapped off. Saw #3, 2 days in, so far so good. I will update if/when it breaks. To speak for the functionality, the saw has a lot of great functions that the higher end brands do not. The quick adjust miter capability is awesome. The blade is not the best, and recommend picking up a better one. The laser is very dim, does not work great in full sun/bright lit areas. 2 stars for going through two broken/defective saws, straight out of the box. Hope this review changes after further use of the 3rd.

The features this offers were what I have been looking for, so I decided to make the purchase when they went on sale recently. I must say that I cannot think of anything negative to say. I used this for crosscuts, miters, and chops, I have not used the bevel function yet but have no doubt it will function just as well. This cut my time drastically and made my cuts square and even. Now I am looking for additional projects to work on just so I can use it again.

The saw needed some fine tuning adjustments which are to be expected. Cuts great. I love the brake to stop the blade fast. The laser is weird to say the least. I get it set and two cuts later it’s off. Don’t count on it much. The dust collection with the bag is two steps from worthless. Hook it to s shop vac and it works well. It could use a rubber boot to increase the dust collection area by the blade. Overall for the price it works as well as a higher price saw.

Rated 5 de 5 de Roger par Versatile and easy to use compound miter saw After reading some of the other reviews I almost passed this one by. I'm glad I didn't. Out of the box it needed a few truing adjustments, but if you take a few minutes and read the manual on how to make those adjustments you will have no problem. This is my first compound miter saw so I took the time to read the instructions. I know most men don't like reading instructions, but read em anyway, before you jump up and give a bad review on a product. I haven't done any projects yet but I did cut up a bunch of scrap wood playing with it. It's easy to use, easy to adjust and for the price, you can't beat it.

Rated 4 de 5 de GB par Good for DYI I’ve owned this saw for almost a year, and have been very happy with it. I use it every month or two for home DIY projects. Cuts are clean and accurate, and it has plenty of power. I only have two complaints. First of all, the adjustment levers, knobs, and power switches are all plastic. Nothing has broken yet, but if i were using it on a daily basis or was depending on it as a pro, I would opt for something with better build quality. My only other complaint is the laser. If you’re working in a garage or shop, it’s fine. But, in any kind of direct sunlight, the laser is so dim it’s practically worthless. Overall it’s good for the average homeowner, and a good saw for the price. I have no regrets, but a more discriminating professional might.
