Rated 5 de 5 de Nano par Great saw I already have full-size corded and cordless recipro saws but I wanted one I could use one-handed and I couldn't be happier with this one. I've used it for several small projects and it works great. Probably not as fast as the big ones but being able to hold the item with one hand and use the saw with the other outweighs the speed. The stroke isn't quite as long as the big ones and the plate that surrounds the blade doesn't pivot, but I haven't found those to be issues at all. I'm totally satisfied with the size, speed and weight of this saw and I already know that I'll be using this one more often than the big ones.

Rated 5 de 5 de Rollinswoodworks par Great little superstar! Just used it to install large island cabinet. Cut a circle for duck work like a jigsaw. Plunge cut the electrical outlet holes in the base of the cabinet with the short fine tooth blade that came with it. 12 volt does it well! I also used it to cut out a stairway with 35 2 x 2 oak spindles very quickly using one hand on spindle and the other holding the saw, push and pull....very smooth and light weight...really love it!

Rated 5 de 5 de Love Dewalt par It's my go to! I have all of the Xtreme line-up and I really love this little saw. I also have all of the 20v and 60v Dewalt tools. I have this saw sitting right up front in my tool truck. I don't need the big sawzall all that often after I picked this up. It is fantastic for sheetrock cut-outs. We do a lot of can light and with a shop vac and this saw, I make almost no dust and mess. The LED light near the blade allows me to make perfect circles and cuts over my head. I really like the variable speed control of this and it's perfectly balanced for one handed cutting. I can cut all day with this little power house. I've dropped it from 8 ft and it can really take a licking.

Rated 4 de 5 de Paul par Handy recip saw for light duty work, tight places Several reviewers of this saw complained that it cuts out, which could sound like a quality control problem. It literally is a safety feature, not a bug. The saw seems to sense when there is excessive wobble and automatically stops the motor. I found this by trying to hold a loose tree branch in one hand while using the saw in my other hand. The saw kept cutting out until I released the trigger and tried again. It wouldn't work consistently UNTIL I better secured the branch I was cutting and ensured the shoe/stop on front of the saw was pushing firmly against what I was cutting. Once I figured this out the saw has worked perfectly. Vibration is not bad at all when properly held. A two amp battery will work, but not for long, only enough for about 20 or so cuts through 1.5 to 3" maple branches. A five amp battery easily got through four times that much with 2/3 of the battery to spare. This saw is not suitable for typical demolition work, but should suffice for occasional light duty jobs like trimming back some overhanging tree branches. I got a great deal on the saw with a free 5 amp battery and am very satisfied with the purchase. However, I'm not sure it's worth list price for the saw and a 5 amp battery though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I acquired this saw about a month ago, and I am extremely impressed with the light weight and versatility of the saw! The saw is easily used with one hand, which allows me to efficiently and precisely make needed cuts without dealing with the weight and awkwardness sometimes present when using a typical two-handed reciprocating saw. The design allows for easy blade changes, and the power and effectiveness remains present. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently gotten this one-handed reciprocating saw, and I don't know how I have gone so long without one of these. So far I have done some kitchen remodel work, plumbing repair, and door replacements with it. The compact size and the light weight is great and perfect for use in tight areas. It has plenty of power to get through everything that I need it to, anything prom PVC to wood to nails. I love being able to have one hand free to support my workpiece while using the saw in the other hand. It is very comfortable while using. The saw also has a light built in which is awesome while working under a sink or in a celling. I look forward to using this more in the near future!

I didn't use a new blade which would of made cutting faster but I wanted to see what this saw could do. It tackled the vines no problem, even the thicker ones that my loppers couldn't get around. I then used it to cut down the thicker middle branch of a holly bush i was trimming back. This is a great alternative to getting out my sawzall. I have to take a ramp off a my deck and I will again pull out this tool to help me cut through nails and old wood.
