Will the mounting hardware work if there's concrete behind drywall?

Rated 5 de 5 de Larry par Wire Shelving Wire shelving - I really like this shelving and would love to buy more of it, but the longer lengths get costly. I can't figure out why these type of racks are so expensive when you start getting into the longer lengths. But this shorter one worked perfectly for fitting over the window and allowing me, to clean items off my desk, which really opened it up, for a clean work area. Now if they could just lower the prices on the longer ones, I could have my shop looking really great, in a matter of days, but will keep looking for something in to use in the other areas that I am thinking about, something is bound to come up that will be the perfect fit.

Rated 4 de 5 de DaveAtTV par Good Shelving for Light to Moderate Use Purchased 3 of the shelves to install in garage to be used to store/hold golf shoes off the floor and to hold other light weight items. Like the fact they were pre-cut to 36". Shelves were easy to install with minimal tools. Took less than 30 minutes to install all three shelves. Support mounts are designed to install in drywall, which is what I did. Not sure what weight they are rated to hold, but they work fine my need.

Rated 5 de 5 de GROG par Working well. This shelf went up well in my laundry room. I used different hardware left over from another wire shelf project, as I was attaching it to studs under the wallboard and not just to the wallboard. With the shelf and the two supports secured to studs the shelf is quite sturdy. I tested the shelf by placing 6 gallons of water (~50lbs, much more than we will ever place on it in normal use.) on it for several minutes and it held very well. I am very pleased with this shelf.

One end of the brace attaches to the wall, and then the other end, where it meets the shelf, has a hook that is curved OVER, rather than UNDER -- in other words, it looks like it is designed to rest on TOP of the shelf wire, rather than curving under the wire to support.it. The hook doesn't snap or snugly fit around the wire, so there is nothing under the wire. It falls right down. I finally had to wedge lighters between the support and the top wire to hold it in place.
