I hate mulching, EGO, where is the uplift Blade? This is my 3rd EGO mower & the uplift blade is a must have. I had to give you 4 Stars because the lack of an uplift blade. Will there be an uplift blade in the future? If so, my review is 5 Stars, no doubt.

Rated 5 de 5 de Ken99 par The greatest mower I ever bought This mower is a beast. My only criticism is that the deck is heavy and it is cumbersome to turn on a short radius. However, the power of the blades and the self-propelled mechanism are fantastic. The mower made short work of an overgrown patch of my lawn. There are virtually no "cow-licks" at the junction of rows. The cut is clean and the mower doesn't stall when the grass is thick. The mower saves reserve power to return to the charger using the self-propelled mechanism when the battery is low. You can see at a glance how much power is left in the battery while mowing. A lot of thought went into the design. I am delighted at the purchase.

I was going to purchase the ego IQ, self propelled lawnmower. After looking at many reviews about the self propelled issues, I decide not to purchase. I waited a whole year to see if they would improve the issue. The 22 inch aluminum deck Ego lawnmower was worth the wait. The lawnmower exceeds in every area of performance. I can cut my front and backyard with using self propelled and barely using two bars of the battery. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend. The lawnmower outperforms my gas powered Honda mower.

I had a pervious version of a ego mower with the plastic deck and I didn't like the way it bounced at times as I cut the grass. So I upgraded to this Aluminum Deck mower and I no longer have that issue. This mower really cuts well and is heavy. Very well made mower. As previous mention in many other reviews, the only gripe I have is the high pitch whining sound of the self propelled motor. A 1,200 mower sounds like a toy when you engage the self propelled system. Other than that it's a great mower.

Rated 4 de 5 de TripleToe par Almost perfect (except for the propulsion system) I like this mower a lot. While it does have its flaws, it has tons of power and is extremely well built. It has a hefty weight to it, which is a good thing because lightweight mowers feel unstable as they ride over the lawn and this affects the cut quality. It’s easy and simple to understand and stores away nicely in my garage. The handles are rock-solid and overall it feels very robust. The battery life is very good as I expected. The turbo speed cuts very well and powered through all the leaves I could throw at it, out-mulching my old gas powered Honda. My only complaint is the whine of the self-propelled system which (as you’ve probably seen from other reviews) is fairly loud. No, this is nowhere near as loud as a gas powered mower. It’s annoying, but I will get used to the sound. The biggest flaw for me is the lack of variability in ramping up to the selected speed. I’m used to a hydrostatic transmission that increases gradually as you depress the lever. This self propulsion is either on or off. While it has a brief ramp-up speed, it quickly jerks you forward once it peaks. While not perfect, I’m assuming I will adapt to it. All that being said, every other aspect of this mower is stellar and I would recommend it. It has lots of power, is a very solid design, and looks to be built with very good quality.

Rated 5 de 5 de David Bl par Top of the line EGO mower. I’ve had this EGO 2160 22inch aluminum deck mower for a few weeks now and have so far been very pleased. It is a replacement for an older EGO mower (10 years) that replacement parts are no longer available for. I have several other EGO products so I am very familiar with the brand. I did my research and I think that they hit it out of the park with this mower. The power (7.1 HP by my calculations) and features are amazing and correct things such as proper mulching and no clogging or clumps with the aluminum deck. Cleanup after mowing is a breeze. Be aware that this is a very solid mower and much heavier than other EGO mowers but if that isn’t an issue then you will love it.

I’ve had EGO products for about 10 years and after my first mower was beyond repair (LM2001) and repair parts were no longer available I decided to go for the top of the line 22 inch aluminum deck mower. First impressions after a month is that this mower is a beast and can go through any type of grass with ease. The turbo feature is nice and Ihave taken to have it as my default setting. Mulching is much improved as is cleanup of grass debris off of the aluminum. Be prepared for added weight and heft which is to be expected with the increased horsepower, metal deck, etc. I haven’t been able to connect the Bluetooth features yet but I’m not too worried about it and presume EGO is still working on this.

I read some complaints from other people and realized they have no clue. This mower cuts my grass fast and I only use 1 bar. I don’t live on a farm I have 50x118 lot so not super big but average size. It also mulches the grass so nice you don’t see anything. I wipe it with a warm cloth and it comes nice and clean easily. That is part of taking care of your tool to keep it working so well. Don’t be lazy people do your part and everything will work for a very long time. Im just sorry I didn’t get an ego a long time ago.
