I recently used this tool to make cabinet drawer fronts and to cut tongue and grooves into plywood and this tool did amazing. I was using a 4ah battery for both days. The adjustable speed is a nice feature depending on what router bit you are using.

Also please find a way to attach this to one of your router tables. That’s it. Other wise it’s a great set up. Speed adjustments are great. The Soft start is awesome. The cut was fantastic. LEDs where great. Blade depth setting was a little loose but very easy to set and it stayed set.

I ran the router for over 30min and when I was done, the battery still had two full bars. Have not had any bits fall out and the depth can be fine-tuned. I have been switching from Dewalt to Kobalt do to affordability and the fact that Kobalt tools have really stepped up in quality.

Rated 2 de 5 de Nameless par No power Wanted to like this router. Unfortunately, it is LACKING in power. Tried making a 3/4" wide dado that is 3/16" deep in an oak board with a 1/2" bit at max RPM. Moving slow but the router shut off after two inches (the LED lights were blinking). Shut it off and turned it back on to finish the cut (at snail speed). It finished the cut but the cut quality was sub par. My old Skil plunge router makes better cuts at a lower (25000) RPM.

I have a big one but wanted something smaller to use especially with quick round overs and things like that but this thing has quickly become my workhorse. Its size makes it very easy to handle. The adjustment mechanism for raising lower the cutting bit works smoothly and lock tight. So far, it’s handled both soft wood and hard wood with ease. The build quality is really good and the handling is fantastic. This cordless router is also handy for quickly cleaning up and small jobs you just wouldn't normally bother using a corded router for as I mentioned. The ease of changing bits on this compared to the big ones is so much better! This has quickly become one of my go-to tools. The more Kobalt 24V Max tools I buy, the more I’m impressed!

Set at a low speed it made easy work of the job. Plate on base small/works, high battery location (balance) as on all hand routers I think, so not hard to tilt if not paying attention. May make a slightly larger one. Overall, nice.

The built in LED makes it so easy to see where you're moving, making it easy to stay precise! The power this little router produces is shocking the first time you fire it up. You don't expect such a small form factor to produce the power that it does. It is an absolute must for any wood worker. Round overs have never been so easy.
