Whirlee Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What we liked: good solid dryer; dries and is environmentally friendly.
What we didn't like: It regularly tells us to clean our exhaust vents. The vents are old, but not clogged.
The top slopes forward, and is not flat like every other dryer we have owned. My wife put her phone on it, and it fell so now we need a new phone. Sloping top seem like a bad idea. People like to set things on top of washers and dryers.

Stopped Heating After A Few Days Of Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only a few days of use, the dryer stopped heating. The sensing function does not work . . . after 3 hours our towels were still damp. Every time we checked on them, no heat, the towels were cool to the touch. The display would read "Sensing" for 45+ minutes . . . how long does it take to sense a load. And no, we did not over crowd the drum. Very discouraging after less than a week of ownership.

Worried about my W&D.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been two weeks that we have been using our new washer and dryer. The washer’s soap dispenser is not sensing the detergent in container- always reads it’s low. The dryer takes too long to dry and the clothes still feel damp.
The only feature I liked was the large bin for washing and removable center piece for the comforters.
Not impressed with whirlpool. Debating on returning these two.

It’s nice when it works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dryer didn’t work pretty much off the bat. We did get it repaired and it’s been working since, but I’ve found the sensor that is supposed to tell if the clothes are wet never works so I stick with timed dry. That does the trick, but for a fairly expensive deyer disappointing. I do appreciate the capacity and in a low profile size and the hamper door is great.

Nice Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this dryer., on 8-16-2023, it has the steam feature haven't had a chance to use it, but the drying system is very efficient, and the controls are very simple to use this dryer sits next to a Maytag washer, so really they are cousins I read that Whirlpool is made by Maytag so you are buying good quality when you buy Whirlpool.

Not so great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will learn how to set the controls to actual dry clothes. The first several loads were dryish, but not what I am used to. The automatic cycle is so miserly with energy that, even with the Eco setting off, the clothes come out dampish. Like the low flush toilets we are mandated to use, this unit puts “conservation above full function.

beat expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this about a month but so far it has beat all my expectations. It is so quiet that you barely hear it. The space inside is phenomenal, drying large blankets etc will no longer be a problem. As usual, whirlpool has put out another great product. My last one lasted about 12 years, yea Whirlpool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been a long time since I had a new dryer, and appliances have really changed! my new dryer can be operated from my phone, has many drying selections and is quiet compared to my old model. the price was reasonable especially with all the features it offered. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MODEL & MANUFACTURER.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not great so far. I bought this with the "matching" top loading washer. I don't like either one. Too many bells and whistles. I dried a couple pairs of shorts, a few pairs of underwear and a couple pairs of socks. After a long drying cycle the clothes were still damp. Wish I still had my old one.

Runs and looks good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our new home, through the builder. Runs well and looks good in our laundry room. Door opens down which makes it a little more difficult to get clothes out of the dryer but a minor inconvenience. Previous dryer door opened to the side and kept closing, even though dryer was balanced.

Love features but “On” button an issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer when my previous dryer would not heat. I like the steam feature to freshen clothes I store folded in the off season. The only problem (but one that might need a repairman if it continues) is that I sometimes need to push the. “On” button repeatedly for a response.

Great features

I just want to hit a button and go. I don't get all the settings and features. But this dryer works and works much better than my last one.

Very easy to operate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer has been a real trooper. We had a competitor dryer that required five visits to try to repair it and they couldn't. The repair technician told us to go get a Whirlpool or a Maytag because they never have to work on them. Best advice I ever listened to.

fairly simple to operate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dryer a few weeks ago. It was easy to install & is operating well. The lint catcher seems to stop most lint from passing through to the motor, which was not a good feature on our past dryer that was only 2 years old (Electrolux).

Nice machine

Could be a little bit quieter and I wish they would build these machines with a brace across the top piece of sheet metal of the box. It would keep it from flexing when the kids inevitably climb on it.

Too many buttons
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d like my old whirlpool dryer better because it didn’t have so many buttons written directions are not good and I went on YouTube and it doesn’t have my model. The regular doesn’t dry my clothes well and I have to put it on heavy duty.

Great Capacity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is decent. I have trouble drying larger loads of towels. It takes a long time and "towel" feature doesn't work to do the job. We have made it work and it seems to be fine. Easy to use and works great other than towels!

Not installed yet; waiting for a backordered kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't wait to use my new dryer, but I'm waiting for the side-vent kit to be in stock so I can install it! In the meantime, it's sitting in my dining room. The washer that I bought to match it works well though.

Well worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this dryer ! Super quite ! The clothes come out great! It is a lot deeper than you think it is, which is great. It is excellent if you have a smaller opening to get it through, because it is 27 "wide.

Great dryer but complicated

Figuring out the settings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using my new dryer about 7 weeks. The dryer drips water onto the clothes in back after they seem to have dried. I'm making sure the steam feature is off, but it still happens.

I am not satisfied with the results of the washer.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I always seem to have a lot of problems with the washer not getting the clothes clean. There is always a deposit on the clothes. Even the simplest of stains are not removed.

Still not in the house.
