Ce détecteur de montants StudSensor(MC) L50 de Zircon est parfait pour tous vos projets d'installation et de rénovation. Avec son design ergonomique breveté, il offre une prise facile et sécuritaire dans une main ou l'autre, dans tous les angles. Il indique clairement le bord de montants et de solives derrière les murs, les planchers et les plafonds grâce à son affichage facile à consulter et son pointeur SpotLite(MD). Le détecteur WireWarning(MD) indique la présence de voltage sous tension jusqu'à 2" de profondeur. Le mode StudScan localise les bords de montants ou de solives en bois ou en métal dans un mur jusqu'à un maximum de 1 1/2" et le mode DeepScan(MD) augmente la profondeur du balayage jusqu'à un maximum de 1 1/2". La fente en V permet de marquer facilement l'emplacement exact des montants et la lumière « READY » permet d/avertir lorsque le calibrage a été effectué avec succès. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie d'un an.

Rated 1 de 5 de annoyed par VERY inconsistent results when you pass this device over smooth unblemished painted drywall it will tell you where the stud is so you mark it. You should always repeat that a 2nd time to confirm, & this thing will tell you where the stud is again except it's not the same location as it said in the 1st scan. Do it 5 more times & it will pass right by the stud or it will show different stud location each time. Don't go drilling 10 holes in your wall- scrap this Zircon junk & go buy a reliable one. I was hanging a hand railing for our stairs & I would have gotten REAL bothered by drilling dozens of holes in wrong places that I had to repair, except I trashed this junk before drilling.

Rated 4 de 5 de EsQueue par Just finished hanging my tv I read the 5 star rating of the stanley $10 stud finder and decided to give it a try. It kept giving me false stud readings. I'm sure that the walls aren't completely made of studs so I returned it and picked up this model so I can see when I am approaching a stud. I couldn't get a beep but I noticed that it started to detect then loose it after I pass the area. I decided to mark the place where the signal was it highest even though it didn't beep and when the bar went down. I did a test drill and hit a stud. I also noticed that the drywall was extremely thick so I set it on deepscan mode and it worked from there. Not exact as the readings varied every time put I managed.

Rated 5 de 5 de workdude par Works awesome. I was hesitant after reading the lower reviews but decided to go for it based off of the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. I recommend reading the instructions, following them, and spending a little time messing around with it before putting to use. I particularly like the part of the instructions that mentions using common sense and "mapping out" your wall. It makes a lot of sense to me. I think if someone just pulled it out of the package, tried to figure it out, and assumed it just automatically and magically locates studs they would be discouraged. It does work very well once you are familiarized with the operation. Best stud finder I've ever used by far.

Rated 4 de 5 de Larry par Good Purchase Needed a stud finder in a pinch to put a projector on the ceiling. At first I thought it was a bad stud finder, found these reviews and was disappointed that I didnt check before I bought. After attempting several times and not able to find the studs, my wife suggested maybe the ceiling studs were the opposite direction. Jokingly I scanned that way and whaddya know the stud finder found them. After a couple of test holes, I verified that the finder was actually working correctly. The lines were even semi-accurately showing edges of my metal studs. Overall good product.

I am a beginner as I am doing some work recovering from the flood of my home. I installed the wood shelves in one of my linen closets. After reviewing internet videos and have watched others do similar work, I was able to accomplish the work. I also particularly like the fact this product alerts of any active wiring behind the walls. I didn't even think about that until I was looking at what products were available in Lowes. So this helped me tremendously! Takes me a little longer than most to get the job done. I'm learning and loving it.

Rated 5 de 5 de Carl par Works Great As a professional handyman, I've used it many times since I purchased it, and I think it's the best balance between accuracy, ease of use, and price. It shows the edges of the studs and the center, so there's no guesswork. It will also alert if it detects an electrical current. It even has a normal scan mode and a deep scan mode. In my experience, it has been completely reliable, and I'm very pleased with it.

Rated 4 de 5 de Troy par Has tripped up once Bought this model for its nice balance of features and price dispite the fact that the demo unit in the store was clearly defective (off by 1/2" when scanning to the right, to the left just fine....weird). Have used it several times since purchasing and it has worked perfectly. I would recommend running a "deep scan" to double check for electrical lines after you have located the stud in normal mode. It missed a line once in normal but showed it deep scan, but just once. Could have been operator error but now I double check just to be safe. Overall, very good choice for a deep scanning unit without all the eye candy extras of more expensive models.

Rated 5 de 5 de RetiredGuy par Works Perfectly Well I read lots of reviews of various stud finders, lots of reports says "did not work ". Mine worked fine. I think people may be missing a simple step when they use the stud finders. Calibrate! So simple with this unit and I would guess almost any stud finder. Hold the unit flat against the wall and press and hold the button. The unit will buzz and flash a red light for just a second and it will read "Ready" in the corner of the display. The unit is now "Calibrated" and ready to find studs. It only took 5 seconds! If you release the button you must recalibrate it but no big deal, it's fast to do. You must continue with the button held down. Slowly cross the wall until the red light arrow points and mark that point. Continue till the red light goes off. Mark that point and in between the two marks will be the center of the stud. If you can't get a red arrow to light up try the "Deep Scan" setting. Oh, and be sure to use a good battery.
