I have tons of pets and smokers in the house and it works really well. They are expensive, but I can get the 4 packs at the large warehouse stores for a great price. I love that they last for 90 days, but I have a reminder to check it monthly and see if it needs to be changed earlier. I highly recommend the 2200.

I started having very severe allergic reactions and suffered quite awhile before realizing it was my in-home air quality. It was to the point of pulling up carpet or purchasing a new home. Med testing confirmed a dust & pollen allergy. I researched & came across Filtrete '2400', purchased 2 immediately along with their linen air fresheners and within minutes of switching my filters to these I was breathing better & my home smells wonderful. Management always changes the filters, but I wanted a better one. I read about Filtrere and bought one about 2 years ago. I have purchased them ever since. I use the little sticker and mark the date it needs to be changed. When I remove it from the system I can see what it has filtered. The filter is literally black. I am very pleased and am willing to pay more for a good quality filter. I wish I would have taken a photo of it before I discarded it, but I will next time.

My family seemed to be in a non-stop battle with viral cold and allergy symptoms. We live in a very old house and I figured it was worth a try to see if this filter made any difference in our home. In just two days I could feel a difference in our air quality. The air seemed crisp and fresh. I also noticed by the end of the month that my family seemed to be having significantly less allergy related symptoms. Naturally I assumed it a coincidence that they were better and we happened to upgrade our air filter so this past month I replaced with a cheap $2 filter. It has been three weeks and we are all sneezing, coughing and having terrible allergy symptoms. I am going to purchase another one of these tomorrow!!!

Rated 3 de 5 de Jackie999 par Filtrete 1500 I've used these for many years, and while I do see that the filter has captured quite a lot by 3 months, I still smell the downstairs tenant's smoke. Also, and *much* more importantly, I am truly weary of the poor fit of these filters. I have to bend and crush the 14" width to get it in. The 25" length seems too long, and the 24" too short by *more* than an inch! I'm concerned that the gap with the 24" will allow unfiltered air in to ruin the unit. Should I worry about one inch? In any event, these filters should not require twisting and bending to install.

I will never take clean air for granted again. We have used this filter in an older HVAC in an older house and it has caused no strain on the system. We quickly noticed a difference in the air quality, my headaches and sneezing are much better now. I am allergic to dust mites and my cats dander - I am extremely impressed. When I clean, there is far less dust accumulated on surfaces in my house which is lovely. After changing the filter recently we found out why - this filter is blocking everything. So great! We are considering investing in higher grades of the Filtrete brand because this one has done so well.

If i had a complaint or negative it would be the way it fits in ceiling return air space. The filter the builder used was a 12x24 of a different brand and it fit fine. The Fitrete of same size has to be wedged in and even crumpled up in a corner to fit.

Rated 5 de 5 de ba9183 par Cleaned forest fire smoke well beyond safe levels Outside, air quality was 300-1100 (off-the-scale and very hazardous) with smoke hanging in the air like dense fog. Inside, the indoor air quality monitor says the air is very clean (AQI 23). This is with running the furnace fan continuously and changing filters every 3-4 weeks. The only downside is the smart filter feature doesn't actually know when the filters are dirty, only how much air volume has gone through them.

I moved into my first apartment at the tender age of 26yrs.. old. My uncle Jake who always used the best for his tavern always used Filtrete filters for his furnace.. Even thou the apartment manager used some cheap flimsy filters, I didn't want to bring a women to a dusty apartment. I also didn't want to breath in bacteria, pollen, or any hazardous molds.. Pittsburgh with some big mills still working and all of that mill ( who knows ) stuff coming out of the smoke stacks. Whenever the manager changed the filters he was shocked, he removed a filter that was in one piece, covered in dust, and an apartment that seemed much cleaner than the others.He asked what my secret was, I said just that's not what you put in. To this day ,he went to his grave not looking to see what brand of filter I was using
